Gymnast McKayla Maroney is back on social media and she's making her return in a big way. After taking some time off following her emergency hospitalization for kidney stones, the 25-year-old Olympian shared a relatable video explaining her struggle to keep up with society's standard of beauty.
Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday, March 3, the brunette bombshell turned the camera on herself to flip the script. McKayla Maroney openly admitting to one fake body part that she was wrestling to keep under wraps.
Looking flawless in a blush-colored sweater, McKayla Maroney's beauty shined through her natural makeup. Smiling from ear to ear, no one would have guessed that she was rushed to a Southern California hospital last week after experiencing "severe pain." Bouncing back like the gold medalist she is, the gymnast pulled her lovely locks up in a bun to showcase her beautiful face.

Explaining that she had to give up a lot of good food to achieve her flawless skin, McKayla Maroney looked into the camera and announced what she dropped from her diet. "I really had no idea tomatoes caused acne until 4 years ago when I went raw vegan. (Mistake for me) It ruined my skin," she told her followers.
Continuing by stating she ended her relationship with "Nightshade vegetables," McKayla Maroney said she's "taking a break" from pizza too. Her balanced diet was quickly overshadowed when she made her next announcement. Keep scrolling!
Turning the subject from foods that cause acne to the reason for something flapping on her face, McKayla Maroney dropped the bomb that she was wearing falsies. Tugging on her long lashes, the former "Fierce Five" team member admitted she's still getting used to putting them on.
"If you notice that my eyelashes look a little like they are about to fall off, it's true," she stated. McKayla Maroney added that despite her competition gymnast days, she never went fake with her lashes, until now.
