Richards Reveals The Hardest Part Of Her Sobriety Journey

According to Richards, everyone loved her wild side but mostly the "people pleaser" aspect of her old self. "I think that was the hardest part of all of this. The resistance from others," she revealed, adding:

"I realized right away that I wasn't going to have a ton of encouragement. But I've dropped enough splits and whipped enough ponytails to know when it's time to call it a day."

Richards continued, "But my mental and physical health became a lot more important to me than feeling like I had to be "on" at a party or social setting. I'm not going to lie... the fact that I looked better because I wasn't drinking was also an incentive to not veer from the road I am on."

Richards’ second sobriety anniversary comes six months after The Blast reported she denied Ozempic speculations. She addressed the situation on Instagram after a fan suspected her stunning bikini body came from the popular weight loss drug.

The Bravolebrity stressed that her physical transformation came from strict diet and abstinence, writing, "NO alcohol, bread, pasta, sugar. I eat protein, fruit, and vegetables." She also noted that she occasionally had small amounts of pasta and wine after achieving her goal weight.

Given how beneficial sobriety has been for Kyle Richards' physical and mental health, "Party Kyle" may never be a part of her future. However, only time can tell.
