Kyle Richards Flaunts Her Taut Tummy In Sports Bra To Celebrate Sobriety

Kyle Richards celebrated a significant milestone on Thursday, showcasing her impressive fitness journey as she marked two years of alcohol sobriety!

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star took to Instagram to share her joy and accomplishments with her followers, posting a mirror selfie that highlighted her toned physique.

In the photo, Richards flexed her bicep, proudly displaying her taut tummy and fit figure. Clad in a sleek black sports bra and matching leggings, she looked stronger and more confident than ever. Her commitment to a healthier lifestyle and dedication to fitness were evident in her toned abs and well-defined muscles.

Alongside the striking image, Richards added a lengthy and heartfelt caption to express her feelings about her sobriety journey. She wrote, "This week was my 2 year anniversary of being alcohol free (July 15th) I can remember a time when the idea of going 2 weeks seemed impossible. I'm proud of the fact that I've had the willpower to stay on this path."

The 55-year-old mother of four continued, "I know many people would love for me to start drinking again. Even friends with the best of intentions. Everyone loved 'Party Kyle.' I think that was the hardest part of all of this. The resistance from others. The old me, the people pleaser, did struggle with that aspect of it. And I realized right away that I wasn't going to have a ton of encouragement."

Richards went on, writing, "But I've dropped enough splits and whipped enough pony tails to know when it's time to call it a day (ok, I may still drop a split here and there. Sorry) But my mental and physical health became a lot more important to me than feeling like I had to be 'on' at a party or social setting."

She also noted that "the fact that I looked better because I wasn't drinking was also incentive to not veer from the road I am on. But the real reward is how I feel on the inside. I feel strong, energetic and grateful for my body. I want to take care of it like it has taken care of me."

Without mentioning her separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky, Richards shared, "It would have been a lot harder going through these difficult times if I had been drinking," adding, "I want to wake up every day feeling my best. Mentally & physically strong enough to face whatever comes my way. Many strangers come up to me and tell me that I have inspired them to start their own alcohol free journey. That makes me happy and inspires me in return. So, thank you for that. I often think of the Ernest Hemingway quote, 'I drink to make other people more interesting.' I prefer to see people and situations just as they are. AND without the hangxiety."

Richards' post resonated with her fans and followers, many of whom congratulated her on reaching this significant milestone.

"Yes. So proud of you my strong queen," Richards' daughter, Alexia Umansky, commented, while Bravo's Andy Cohen remarked, "BRAVO! This is amazing! I'm impressed."

On Wednesday, photos surfaced showing Umansky sharing a passionate kiss with an unidentified blonde woman in Greece, marking a year since his split from Richards.

The 54-year-old real estate tycoon seemed in high spirits as he was welcomed at Mykonos airport by the blonde companion. The two embraced warmly, exchanging a steamy kiss and smiling at each other while hugging.

The woman, who appeared to be at least two decades younger than Umansky, remains unidentified at this time.
