The POTUS playfully called voters to action on X by using his recent COVID-19 diagnosis to promote a donation plea. He began by sharing the tweet, "I'm sick," seemingly confirming his health scare before elaborating with:

"of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election. And if you agree, pitch in here."

The second tweet came with a flyer of Trump and Musk alongside the words "Defeat Trump" and a "Donate" button. Clicking the link leads to a donation site where Biden's team stressed the importance of voters' assistance.

"We must stop Donald Trump. We're counting on this team to invest in the necessary resources to stop him. Donate now," the site pleaded, urging the public to donate as low as $10 or above $2000.

Biden's donation bid received mixed reactions from X users, with some finding his jab at Musk hypocritical. These critics noted that Mark Zuckerberg allegedly supported his 2020 election with $400 million.

"Mark Zuckerburg spent $400 million helping you win the 2020 election. If you actually had a problem with it, you could have changed it. You're only complaining now because the billionaires, like most other people, are shifting to Donald Trump," someone claimed.

Another shared a news article about Zuckerberg's alleged donations, quipping, "So you admit Mark bought the 2020 election for you then?" Other X users found the ad ingenious, with one declaring, "Your team lowkey cooked with this."

Following the shooting at his Pennsylvania rally, Trump issued a statement condemning the violent incident. He began by thanking authorities and the United States Secret Service for their swift response and extending his condolences to the victims' families.

"It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear," Trump recalled, noting his injury bled profusely.
