Kim Kardashian is keeping the $60 Million mansion in Los Angeles as part of her divorce from Kanye West.

According to reports, the famous couple decided to give their four children some much-needed stability in the breakup, and are keeping all the kids inside the home they grew in.

It's an interesting move, considering both Kanye and Kim spent loads of money designing and building the massive compound, specifically filled with a lot of the rapper's vision. But, at this point, it's what makes sense.

You would think Kanye might have tried to keep the house in the couple's property split -- considering it was a multi-year passion project for the musician. On many occasions, Kim and Kanye would share photos and videos from inside the estate, explaining his thoughts on its unique design.

“Kim is trying to get Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her because that’s where the kids are based and growing up. That is their home," one source told the NY Post.

Kanye doesn't have any real ties to the area beside his children, and Kim's entire family lives within a few blocks of the compound. The house is worth $60 million, and has its own chef's kitchen, basketball court, gym, and hair salon!

At the time, the couple worked with Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt on the all-white minimalist style home. The couple reportedly spent $40 Million on the home and dropped another $20 Million in renovations!

As for Kanye, he has been living in Wyoming for the past few years -- almost full-time. The rapper moved the headquarters of his 'Yeezy' brand to the midwest and has been staying at the ranch during the couple's split.

It's unclear if Kanye will purchase a property near the L.A. compound so he can be closer to his children.

According to multiple reports, many believed the house may be a sticking point in the couple's divorce.

“She owns all the land and adjoining lots around the house but Kanye owns the actual house. They’ve both put a lot of money into renovating it," the outlet reported.

As we reported, both Kim and Kanye have TONS of money -- and the property settlement should be easy -- considering they had a prenuptial agreement. Besides the house, it appears the couple will be keeping what is their own. Plus, whoever has custody of the children will cover the costs at that time.

In the end, as we said, Kanye is hoping the couple can reconcile at some point in the future, so maybe it's best to keep everything as normal as he can.
