Billie Eilish is reportedly struggling to sell out her six-night residency at London's O2 arena due to high ticket prices, with fans expressing frustration over the costs.

Despite the singer's success with her new album, numerous seats remain available, contrasting with her sold-out 2019 tour. Eilish's UK tour begins in July 2025.

Billie Eilish's struggle to sell out the O2 arena comes after she criticized lengthy performances and continues her environmental advocacy with her mom's non-profit, Support + Feed.

Eilish is seemingly finding it difficult to fill the seats at her six-night residency at London's O2 arena, with many fans attributing the low sales to high ticket prices.

In May, the singer announced that tickets were available for her 2025 "Hit Me Hard and Soft" tour, which includes six shows at the 20,000-seat venue.

However, despite the success of her latest album in the UK and US charts, ticket sales have lagged. Numerous seats are still up for grabs on the AXS website, the O2's official ticket partner.

According to the Daily Mail, standing tickets start at £145 [$187], while lower-tier seats are priced at a staggering £388 [$505] each, frustrating her fan base.

One frustrated fan took to X [formerly Twitter] to express their anger in a tweet that has gone viral.

They wrote, "I'm glad Billie Eilish can't sell out or even marginally fill any of her three dates at the O2 arena because the only way we will get cheaper ticket prices is by not buying hugely overpriced tickets. £234 being the cheapest ticket is ridiculous."

Fans Call The Singer's Ticket Prices 'Disgusting'

The viral tweet about Eilish's low ticket sales caused a flood of reactions from other fans of the singer.

One disheartened fan wrote, "It's disgusting actually I would love to see Billie but those tickets prices stopped me in my tracks!!! Doesn't feel like that long ago I paid £25 to see Gaga at the O2, what the hell has happened."

"Absolutely ridiculous. Artists need to realise you aren't going to sell out arenas in the UK charging the kind of prices they charge in the US. Her tickets should be a max of £90," another individual said.

A third person called the situation "mad," writing, "I just don't get where they're getting these prices from anymore. Slipknot were charging £90 for standing… I've never paid more than £65 for a ticket at the o2."

Another fan fumed, "When did these artists go from 'I'm nothing without my fans' to acting like 'my fans are nothing without me'? You have to be on a whole other level of arrogance to think you're worth that much of someone's hard-earned money."

The backlash over high ticket prices and poor sales is a stark contrast to Eilish's 2019 "Where Do We Go?" Tour, where overwhelming demand forced organizers to add two extra shows in London.

Eilish is set to begin her UK tour in July 2025, with two shows in Glasgow, six in London, and four in Manchester.

Earlier this year, the 22-year-old singer made a statement about lengthy performances while talking about her shows.

"I'm not doing a three-hour show, that's literally psychotic," Eilish said, per Page Six. "Nobody wants that. You guys don't want that. I don't want that. I don't even want that as a fan. My favorite artist in the world, I'm not trying to hear them for three hours. That's far too long."

Many perceived the comment as a jab at pop star Taylor Swift, who is currently on her "Eras Tour" and usually performs for lengthy hours.

Eilish's remark also came after she received heavy criticism regarding her comments in a Billboard interview about artists being wasteful by releasing multiple versions of an album.

Again, some fans felt the 22-year-old singer was throwing a jab at Swift, prompting her to release a statement clarifying her comments.
