Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares Video Of Baby's Heartbeat

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is preparing for parenthood as she is expecting her first child with Ken Urker.

The ex-convict, who spent eight and a half years behind bars for her involvement in her mother’s tragic murder, has recently reignited her romance with Ken, her former fiancé before she married Ryan Anderson.

As she is going through her divorce from Ryan, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is starting the next chapter in her life--becoming a mother.

Earlier this month, she dropped the bombshell with a YouTube video where she opens with, "I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025."

"You know it's still going to be a long journey ahead, but I'm up for it. I feel a shift in myself," she added. "When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the feud between creators and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn't matter anymore. All that matters is that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy."

Approximately one and a half weeks after announcing her pregnancy, Gypsy shared a video of her baby's heartbeat on her Instagram page. "Hearing our baby’s heartbeat with a home doppler," she captioned the video, in which she is seen lying in the doctor's office, smiling from ear to ear.

After seeing the video clip, fans couldn't help but express their excitement for the 32-year-old despite her past. "Y'all I'm actually so happy for her. I don’t even care what has happened in the past," one user wrote.

"I just love seeing how happy and excited this makes you. You really deserve this girl!" another said, as one user expressed, "Gypsy, hearing your baby's heartbeat is the most wonderful thing ever."

After hearing Gypsy's story and what she endured during her childhood, fans couldn't help but share their excitement for the ex-convict as she starts this next chapter in life.

"Congratulations, Gypsy and Ken, all my support goes to you!" one of her fans commented. "Please give this baby the childhood you never had, I know you’ll be amazing parents."

"So precious, Gypsy, I'm so happy beyond measure for all of you. Eek, how exciting," another commented. "You're definitely a beautiful soul who deserves so much more."

As The Blast previously reported, Gypsy's mom, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard, manipulated doctors into performing a series of unnecessary medical treatments and procedures on Gypsy. This manipulation led Gypsy to believe she suffered from multiple illnesses and disabilities, creating a web of deception that profoundly impacted her life.

In her pregnancy announcement, Gypsy shared an emotional moment as she reflected on her childhood journey. With a mix of nostalgia, trauma, and joy, she opened up about her experiences growing up with her mother, who is thought to have had Munchausen by proxy.

"It's not about anything other than the tiny little life that's inside you," she said as she got emotional. "That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that's yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little."

Shortly after sharing her pregnancy news, Gypsy expressed her desire to use those experiences as a foundation for raising her new baby.

"All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby," she told People Magazine. "My mother told me I was never going to get married, raise a family, have kids or do any of that. So, to be here, standing on my own two feet and expecting my first baby, that's something I've reached as an achievement and a personal goal. I thank God every day that I am now having this second chance at life with a kid of my own."

Blanchard continues, "The way my mother parented me is definitely not the way I'm going to be. We always say for the next generation, we want to be better than we were raised. And so, for me, I think that couldn't be any more truthful.
