Patrick Mahomes Declares 'I'm Done' On The Topic Of More Kids

Patrick Mahomes is making it clear that baby number three will be his last. 

With the Kansas City Chief star's wife, Brittany Mahomes, currently expecting their third child, he declared, "I'm done," ending any speculation about expanding their family further.

While the arrival of baby number three will bring joy to the star athlete's household, Patrick Mahomes' recent comments suggest he might be drawing the line at three little ones.

During a press conference on Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback got candid about the future amid his wife's third pregnancy. 

Patrick, who already has two children, a daughter Sterling and a son Bronze, revealed that their third child would complete their family.

Although he emphasized the importance of cherishing family moments amidst his demanding career throughout the interview, the three-time Super Bowl champion made it clear that their family will be capped at three children. Patrick firmly stated:

"I'm done, I'll say that. I said three, and I'm done." 

In the video shared via KMBC's X (formerly Twitter) page, the 28-year-old reflected on his love for fatherhood, mentioning his desire to have children early, influenced by his own experiences growing up in a sports environment. He shared:

"I always wanted to have kids young. I got to grow up in a locker room, I've talked about it before. It made such an impact in my life. We're having our third kid now to join our family and  Brittany does a great job of doing that. We still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things."

Patrick also highlighted his commitment to balancing his professional and personal life, saying, "Whenever I'm with my family I want to enjoy those moments."

The NFL star's latest comments happened days after the couple announced they were expecting their third child. 

Last week, The Blast noted that they made the exciting announcement through a heartwarming joint Instagram post, captioned, "Round three, here we come."

The post featured a touching video with their two children proudly displaying ultrasound photos of the newest addition to their family. Their happiness comes after Brittany expressed her deep love for motherhood in a previous interview. 

At the time, the fitness instructor shared her joy watching her children grow and develop. "Oh my goodness, I love being a mom. I think I've been called to be a mom ever since I was little," Brittany gushed. 

She further expressed her fulfillment in experiencing life with her children, including the special moments they share.

While Brittany gushed over their children, her beau took his time to shower praise on the expectant mother. The quarterback emphasized how much Brittany contributes to their household, enabling him to focus on his football career. In his words:

"I think people don't even realize how much she does. Taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft and everything like that."

Patrick praised her as both an exceptional mother and wife, describing her as a "hall of fame mom and a hall of fame wife." He also highlighted the joy and support he finds in his relationship with Brittany, referring to her as his "best friend." 

Life in the limelight is challenging and well-meaning, but persistent fans can disrupt personal moments.This is a reality that Brittany had to face head-on.

The Blast reported that after the co-owner of the Kansas City Current soccer team asked for questions from her followers, she received many intimate ones. 

In response to a fans "Will you have more kids?" Brittany candidly noted, "There are a lot of these…lol. We aren't sure honestly! Part of me says yes, part of me says ehhhh maybe not!"

However, her reply only opened up the door to more inquiry, especially about pregnancy rumors. Meeting this head on, Brittany emphatically clarified, "I'm not really sure where this rumor started but no, I am not pregnant."

Brittany may love motherhood, but she is not afraid to admit the challenges of raising two active toddlers.Last December, the expectant mother shared her first true taste of managing two little ones in full meltdown mode. 

"Today is my first day of chaos since having 2 kids [rolling on the floor laughing and mind blown emojis] both screaming, both not wanting to nap [smiley emoji]," she tweeted. 

Brittany did not stop there. She also posted a short video on her Instagram Story, showcasing a typical moment of "chaos." 

In the clip, Sterling, dressed in a soiled outfit, sat on the kitchen counter, ready to brush off the recording device, while Brittany made funny faces in the background.

While cherishing every moment amidst their bustling lives, only time can prove Patrick Mahomes' stands firm on capping their family at three children.
