Will Smith is already one of America's most beloved actors, so maybe it would make a good fit for the star to get into politics and use his massive platform to make some real positive change in the United States. The iconic "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star was asked the question this week on a popular political podcast while promoting his new project with Netflix, "Amend: The Fight for America." Smith's answer was interesting and may someday be looked at as the day future President Smith decided to get political.

Will Smith appeared as a guest Monday on "Pod Save America," along with hosts Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Dan Pfeiffer and Tommy Vietor. The actor made it clear he wants to make his voice known when it comes to our country's future, and did not deny that he may have a future in politics.
"I will certainly do my part, whether it remains artistic or at some point venture into the political arena," Smith told the hosts.
He added, "For now, let that office get cleaned up a little bit. I'll consider it at some point down the line."

While not currently running for office, Will Smith is using his art to discuss issues important to Americans, such as systemic racism and activism. In his new Netflix series, Smith serves as both host and executive producer while taking a deep-dive into those who fought for equal rights in America.
"These are the stories of the brave Americans who fought to right the nation’s wrongs and enshrine the values we hold most dear into the Constitution — with liberty and justice for all," a description from Neflix states.
