Dr. Oz saved a person’s life at a Newark, New Jersey airport after the man collapsed from what appeared to be a heart attack.
According to reports, the television doctor jumped into action as a real physician after noticing a man who had suffered an emergency medical situation and was on the ground fighting for his life.
The doctor apparently jumped in and began CPR on the patient as the Port Authority Police called for paramedics to rush the man to the hospital. It seems the doctor was just in the right place, at the right time!

According to reports, Dr. Oz the incident went down Monday night inside Newark, New Jersey airport — after a man collapsed face down near baggage claim.
The famous doctor reportedly began by rolling the gentleman over and clearing his airway and starting CPR. Witnesses say an officer with the Port Authority helped by continuing the clear the airway as Dr. Oz performed the CPR.
The TV show host detailed the lifesaving heroics in a recent interview, where he explained the man collapsed having NO pulse and was turning an off-color while foaming at the mouth.

According to the good doctor, authorities had a defibrillator nearby and Dr. Oz used it to shock the patient’s heart back to life!
The doctor claims he pumped it up to the highest possible power and hit the patient was the electrodes, and at that point, his heart started beating again. In other words, Dr. Oz brought the man back to life!
Law enforcement says the gentleman was 60 years old and was transported to a local hospital.
Interestingly, Dr. Oz reportedly didn’t tell the officers exactly who he was at the scene, just that he was a doctor.

The good news, it appears the man is going to make a full recovery and he is currently doing “Ok.”
According to one report, Dr. Oz is in touch with the man’s wife — who he was traveling with — and they are awaiting test results from the incident.
Photos of the incident have started to appear online, and it shows several offices surrounding the man as he lay on the airport floor.
Bottom line, Dr. Oz isn’t always on the frontlines of the emergency rooms or on the operating table these days — but, it sounds like he is exactly who you want around if something goes wrong!
