Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's back looks like a giant octopus attacked it!
The "Black Adam" star showed off a crazy photo from his first time cupping on Tuesday, March 2. The massive actor looked shocked as he snapped a pic of his heavily marked up back. Cupping is an alternative medicine therapy where heated suction cups are placed on the skin, and the result is often a hickey-like mark. Dwayne seemed to require some of the largest, most intense suction cups because his cup-marks were McMuffin-sized (clearly, he never eats McMuffins).

Despite the painful-looking marks, Johnson assured his followers that it was not that bad. "First time cupper over here ??♂️," Dwayne captioned his photo. "Looks more gnarly than it feels, but over all I enjoyed the therapy." The 48-year-old actor puts his tools to the test, and he has been exploring alternative medicine to keep in tip-top shape. "Always looking for new techniques to keep this 250million year old dinosaur ? body balanced and optimal with not only all my past injuries but my daily grinding family/work/training/repeat schedule."
"It all takes its toll, so being proactive is critical," the bodybuilding actor concluded. "We only get one body, so we gotta take care of it."

When Dwayne said that everything takes a toll, he wasn't kidding! Between his college football days at the University of Miami and his time in the WWE, it makes perfect sense why he's seeking out alternative medicine. He has racked up quite the list of horrific injuries. The 'Jumanji' actor shared the long list with his followers last week.
"-4 knee surgeries -Torn quadricep off my pelvis -Torn adductor off my pelvis -Triple hernia surgery -Ruptured Achilles’ tendon -Completely shoulder reconstruction -3 low back disc herniations -2 low back disc ruptures," The Rock listed.

Cupping is the latest therapy that the star, currently training for "Black Adam," has tried recently. He revealed that he tried acupuncture on February 26 by sharing a picture of tiny needles sticking out of his giant frame. "Even though I look like a wounded, passed out drunk buffalo laying face down in prairies - can’t tell ya how grateful I am for these quiet healing/recovery moments," Johnson joked at the time.
The Rock hopes his photos act as a "daily reminder that we only have one body and we gotta take care of it."
