Gymnast Nastia Liukin Defies Physics With Bedroom Thigh Gap

Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is swinging a hip and flaunting her massive thigh gap while turning back time. The 31-year-old five-time Olympic medalist, fresh from hosting the 12th annual Nastia Cup in Indianapolis, today updated her Instagram with a jaw-dropping and skimpy bedroom selfie, one showing the Russian-born star's Gold Medal body, plus her flawless sense of style. Nastia, who went witty with her caption, even managed to make Tuesday Monday as she highlighted tight jeans and a crop top. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. It comes as Nastia continues to make headlines for stopping hearts with her thirst traps, this month bringing a massive, all-pink countdown as the Nastia Cup approached. Liukin, who retired aged just 22 back in 2012, now sees her professional career living on via legacy.

All thigh, with gap today and from the minimalist white bedroom inside her Dallas, TX home, Nastia posed all stylish in cropped and fitted off-white jeans, plus a nude-colored and no-sleeve crop top – with a twist.

Hiding her face, but not her Olympian body, the blonde showcased her legs in smart, pointed-toe court heels, then throwing her 1 million followers a curveball by writing: "The Mondayest Tuesday ever."

Nastia, who was born in Russia and moved to the U.S. as a child, is a regular Dallas shout-out-er, although she did face a storm this month as trolls alleged that she didn't care about the Texas snowstorm crisis – the gymnast had even proven she does by reaching out and mentioning organizations helping out.

The Nastia Cup, which was aired on NBC Sports, has also brought a little reflection from Liukin, with a recent IG post seeing her state:

"To put this day into words is always a challenge for me. And on this year, the 12th year, putting these indescribable feelings into words might be the most challenging yet," adding: "This past year will go down in history as perhaps one of the most trying, dark years of our generation. But from darkness, comes light. Today was proof of that."

Nastia, who faced an anorexia storm in October 2020, still isn't done receiving skinny-shaming hate. The star, who admitted her body was always "thin" back in 2016, was this year asked to post a pic of her "gross skinny chicken legs." Instead of ignoring the request, the gymnast shared an upside-down splits shot, firing back at the user and writing:

"Unclear if you're trying to be hurtful or what, but these "gross skinny chicken legs" helped me win an olympic gold medal, huh?"
