Who knew that Bryce Dallas Howard and her famous father, Ron Howard's birthdays are only one day apart?!
The "Jurrasic World" actress shared a heartwarming tribute to her father on Monday. The famous director celebrated his 67th birthday on March 1, and Bryce turns 40-years-old on March 2. She shared an adorable throwback photo that featured her young self posing with her dad as she penned a lengthy tribute, where she referred to Ron as "Pops" and praised him for being a great father, mentor, and all-around good guy.

"Pops, we celebrate another birthday, another trip around the sun:)," BDH wrote. "For you it’s 67 and for me it’s 40 — I suppose that makes us proper grown-ups."
Bryce continued to shower Ron with compliments as she reflected on her life. "I feel very lucky to be turning 40 and have a Dad who I still love talking with and who I look up to as an example for how to walk through this world. You are an amazing man Daddio and we all love you so much."
The soon-to-be 40-year-old revealed that the entire family had a celebration via zoom, but she felt like honoring him with an Instagram post. "I wanna thank you again for building the life and family you have. You bring so much joy into this world @realronhoward. Happy Birthday ❤️."

Bryce presented the award for Best Director to Chloé Zhao for “Nomadland" at the 78th annual Golden Globes Awards on Sunday, February 28. She looked amazing in a sequin ombré Temperley London dress, but it was the fact that she bought it second-hand that raised eyebrows. "As many of you know, I love the sustainability of consignment fashion and often find secondhand pieces for press ✨ When I found out I was presenting at the #GoldenGlobes, I immediately went back to my tried and true friend, @therealreal! " she wrote alongside her dress pics. Howard revealed that she picked the dress to match her hair and included old, magenta Alexander McQueen pumps to complete her sustainable look. She even did her makeup herself!
"And for hair and makeup, tonight seemed like the perfect night to put my own skills to the test — thank you @mrjasonlow and @vivianbaker for your incredible virtual direction!"

Despite her participation in the Golden Globes, she expressed her extreme disappointment with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association over the organization's lack of diversity. The HFPA has 87 members, none of whom are black, so Bryce made a point to call for change before taking part in the award show. "As a presenter this evening, I want to acknowledge the incredible milestone this recognition is for many artists as well as the need for actionable change within the HFPA," she began. "We have the opportunity to push the Golden Globes toward what it can be: a representation of the many communities and voices that are a part of our industry."
She continued, "A voting body comprised of 87 people without any Black members is another example of the abuse of power and systemic racism that permeates both Hollywood and our country. The galvanization around expanding voter representation in the HFPA is long overdue."
"It is on all of us to do better," she concluded.
