Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are desperately looking to offload their Beverly Hills marital home amid rumors of their marital woes.
Sources claim that the couple is "in a rush" to sell the home after paying $60 million for it less than two years ago. The property was placed on the market for a whopping $68 million, but they're yet to get a buyer.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been spending time apart in separate parts of the coast, but they allegedly still have a chance to reunite.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Are 'In A Rush' To Sell Their Marital Mansion
Affleck and Lopez have been plagued by rumors of an "imminent" divorce and have since placed their marital home on the market, with the "Good Will Hunting" actor moving out into a $100,000-a-month Brentwood rental home.
According to US Weekly, a source claimed the pair are now "in a rush" to sell the property as they "never felt settled" since moving into the 12-bedroom, 24-bath mansion.
"They thought they could sell it off-market but made a game-time decision in order to put more eyes on the property," the insider shared.
"They are in a rush to sell it. Ben especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there," they added.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Felt The House Was Too 'Huge'
The mansion's 38,000-square-foot size was reportedly always an issue for Affleck and Lopez, as they barely had all their kids around.
Affleck has three children, Violet, Fin, and Samuel, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez shares twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
"They rarely have all the kids there at once, so it felt huge for the two of them," the source told US Weekly. "Nothing has been decided yet as far as the divorce, but selling the house is the first step."
An insider previously told People magazine that the couple "never" liked the property because Affleck thought it to be "too far away from his kids," while Lopez felt it was "too big for her."
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez's Kids Are Reportedly Working To Bring Them Back
According to reports, their children are plotting to bring the troubled couple "back together." Lopez and Affleck's children often spent time together when she was back in LA but have recently been separated as the "Atlas" actress continues to spend time in New York amid their rumored split.
"The kids think Jennifer and Ben are really, deeply in love, like soul mates and they don't want them to divorce," a source told the Daily Mail. "They want them to work it out for better or for worse, like their vows said. And they do feel that the two should continue counseling and talking it out, even if it is painful."
They continued, "They feel like if they do and say the right things there could be more peace."
The Children Want The Duo To Sort Out Their Differences
The insider shared that the kids want them to sort out their differences before Lopez's 55th birthday on July 24, adding that "there is hope they could all celebrate together for a mellow family party in Los Angeles."
As to what the kids are doing exactly to reunite them, the source said they "highlight the positive attitude" each party has and that there's a feeling Affleck could lighten up after reports surfaced suggesting he was to blame for their split due to his alleged complaints.
"He is a prickly one, he can be grumpy, that is true for sure, he is not a happy go lucky kind of dude, even if he is very intelligent and funny. The kids are trying to get him to lighten up and let stuff go," the source shared.
Jennifer Lopez 'Needs To Work Less And Relax More'
According to the news outlet, the source disclosed that the "Jenny From The Block" singer also has flaws due to her obsessive work rate.
"She needs to work less and relax more," they shared. "The twins' dad Marc Anthony has always said that: Jenny needs to relax and enjoy her life more, he told her for years and years to do this."
"Now Max and Emme are doing the same," the source added. "The kids get along great, especially Emme and Fin, they are best friends and talk every day. They tell Ben and Jenny, 'hey, don't give up, don't lose this.'"
