'RHONJ' Star Jennifer Aydin Offers Update On Teresa Giudice's Relationship With Ex Joe

Jennifer Aydin claims Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, are on great terms as they co-parent their court daughters, including Gia, Audriana, Gabriella, and Milania, from different countries.

During an interview withUs Weeklymagazine last week on their podcast, "Getting Real With the Housewives," Aydin confirmed that Teresa and Joe have "an amazing relationship."

"There’s no animosity there. They look like they have a mutual respect for each other and I feel like everything’s good,” Aydin explained of her co-star and ex-spouse.

According to Aydin, Teresa, who confirmed her split from Joe in late 2019, has been able to remain on good terms with her former husband because she's determined to do what's best for their children. 

“This is the father of her children. We can’t negate the years that they’ve been together. I feel like out of respect for her children and out of respect for the relationship that they had, she should defend him if she feels the need to,” Aydin noted.

As seen in a sneak peek at the 11th season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Teresa will be seen feuding with her co-stars after defending Joe to them. However, according to Aydin, she did so only because she truly deserved he was not in the wrong. 

“I mean, she’s not going to sit here and praise Joe when he does something wrong, but if there is a situation where he deserves to be defended, I feel like it should come from Teresa. That’s, like, a no-brainer to me,” Aydin said.

Following her 2019 split from Joe, Teresa began dating new boyfriend Luis Ruelas and is rumored to be living with him at a new home in New Jersey. 

Speaking of the relationship, Aydin said that ever since Teresa began dating Ruelas, "nothing seems to bother her."

“She just definitely seems a lot happier, but happy before too and was living her best life,” Aydin explained on the magazine's podcast. "With everything that she was going through, with everything she was handling, and of course, the death of her father was, I’m sure, very devastating to her."

According to Aydin, she believes that after years of turmoil, Teresa met Ruelas at the perfect time. 

"I feel like this meeting of Louie couldn’t have come at a better time,” she shared. 

Although Teresa and Ruelas publicly confirmed their relationship last year, it is not believed that he will appear on the current season of "RHONJ."
