One of the latest luxury items that the champ is seeking is a 2009 Maybach 62S Landaulet, according to TMZ Sports. This is reportedly labeled as “ultra-rare” and contains a V12 Twin Turbo Engine with 620 horsepower. It’s also only one of eight in the entire world.
Mayweather Is Reportedly In A Bidding War With A Rapper For The Car
TMZ added that the owner of this Maybach is Obi Okeke. There are only three other models of this car in the United States as they are owned by Drake and DJ Khaled. The car was tagged with a $1.35 million price when it was originally released and now, Mayweather is supposedly in a bidding war with a anonymous rapper for the Maybach.
A spokesperson added that the buyer will end up being a “a superrich individual who wants something that is extremely extraordinary and enjoys being driven in a car with acres of sky above them.”
Asking Price For The Maybach Is $2 Million
Right now, Okeke wants $2 million for the rare vehicle, or whichever is the best offer on the table for him. Sources close to the situation say that Mayweather is simply seeing how far the anonymous rapper is willing to go as far as the price for the Maybach. Mayweather should be viewed as the favorite to land the car though as worth at least $560 million. Being able to buy this vehicle is no issue for him and he should outbid most rappers.
Mayweather Recently Had Huge Birthday Celebrations In Florida
Mayweather is 44-years-old now and he is fresh off of plenty birthday celebrations in Florida. Things kicked off on February 20 as it took place at “The Venue” in Ft. Lauderdale, per TMZ. He was seen in all gold and black attire with plenty of jewelry on. Mayweather also pulled up to the party in his $2 million Bugatti. The Venue was very unique in that it is “outfitted with the most advanced technology in sound and lighting, special effects including laser capability and 3D Projection Mapping,”
Mayweather Says Fight Vs Logan Paul Will End Up Happening
Mayweather was originally supposed to take on Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match. The announcement was made in early December but at the end of January, it was called off. TMZ Sports reported that sources close to the situation claimed that this was due to “COVID and other things.” At his’s party in Ft. Lauderdale though, Mayweather explained that the fight will end up happening.
“I know it’s going to happen,” Mayweather explained. “We just want make sure everything is right and everything is where it should be.”
