Miley Cyrus' Sister Brandi Reveals Trouble With South African Boyfriend

Miley Cyrus isn't the only one with boy drama, as her older sister, Brandi Cyrus, is coming clean about the state of her relationship with longtime boyfriend, Reinardt Visser, and although everything may not be ideal in its current state, Brandi believes the two are going to be able to work through their issues because she believes true love always prevails.

The 33-year-old Cyrus sister took to Instagram recently after having spent some time away from social media. As Brandi must have been receiving worried messages from fans, she felt the need to clear the air about what has been going on in her personal life.

Brandi Cyrus addressed her 1 million Instagram fans with a photo of herself and Reinardt, along with a lengthy caption:

"Hey guys, I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, but I’ve been reading many messages from y’all asking about Ry. I’ve always been very open here about our relationship, and I want to continue to do that... all of you have been so amazingly supportive of us over the years, which I am so grateful for, and I know you guys feel invested!" Brandi began her message.

Revealing that the two are not currently together, but not exactly broken up, Brandi Cyrus explained:

"So yes, Ry did have to go back to South Africa for visa reasons, but to be fully transparent there were other things that played into his departure as well. We are currently working through some serious stuff in our relationship, but we are not broken up."

Brandi continued, "I promise to keep you guys in the loop, but thank you in advance for giving us time to work through this stuff privately with each other. To put it simply, relationships are very, very hard... but true love is worth it all."

Brandi Cyrus and Reinardt have been dating since at least 2019, when the older sister of Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus first went public with an Instagram post. While visiting Reinardt on a trip to Visser in South Africa at the Tswalu Kalahari Reserve, Cyrus was clearly smitten with her beau.

It's unclear exactly what led to the troubles between the couple, but fans are hoping the two are able to work it out and dropping encouraging messages on Brandi's page.

"You got this! ❤️ I’m a stranger for sure but whatever it is you two will feel it in your hearts to know what’s best," one fan wrote.
