Emily Ratajkowski Told String Bikini Inappropriate With 3-Year-Old Son

Emily Ratajkowski is under fire for stripping down to string swimwear in photos with her young son. The supermodel, 33, jetted out to Encinitas, CA this week for a visit to her hometown, sharing moments from her travels to Instagram and seemingly causing major drama. Emily, who was born in the U.K. and was raised near San Diego, hit up various Encinitas locations with her son, with many of the images showing her embracing Southern California's swimwear culture. While over 400,000 fans liked the IG share, users on Emily's Instagram and beyond found issues with her wardrobe choice.

Opening her gallery in micro shorts and a crop top while posing by a bookshelf, Emily quickly upped the ante as further slides showed her driving around in a string bikini and posing outdoors with her infant son. Still in swimwear in one photo, the Inamorata founder stood outside Mexican restaurant Las Olas, modeling a striped open shirt worn over an eye-popping bikini top.

Adding in casual beach shorts worn low enough to flash her briefs, EmRata sipped away at an iced beverage, with 2021-born Sylvester standing near his mother.

The gallery also included an adorable photo of Sly playing on a backyard lawn, plus one of him joining his bikini-clad mother for an ocean dip. Here, Emily did not reveal her child's face, although he was seen holding hands with what are likely his grandparents. "Home for a few days," Emily Ratajkowski captioned her share. The drama began on Emily's IG.

"I would not feel comfortable wearing such a swimsuit in front of my dad if i was a woman...," one fan wrote. The sentiment proved more marked over on The Daily Mail.

Gaining over 80 upvotes, another user replied: "Can't you at least dress like a mom when you're with your child." When one fan exclaimed: "You're out with your child "dressed" like that!" another sarcastically wrote: "Don't you mean undressed."

Also finding the whole thing distasteful was a user who said: "Great figure, but putting it out there with your child and parents is just weird. There's a time and place." Emily shares her only child with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. The former couple tied the knot in 2018. In 2021, Emily Ratajkowski filed for divorce.

Fans get plenty of reminders of Emily's hands-on mothering. Likewise, of her love for Sylvester.

"I’ll do anything to keep you safe and make sure your life is a wonderful one. Being your mama is magical. I love you more than you could ever know," she wrote on Instagram to celebrate Sly's birthday in 2023.
