Rapper Tory Lanez continues to be ridiculed on social media for his patchy balding hair despite him having undergone a procedure to fix the problem.
Earlier this month, the rapper, who is hated by many for his alleged role in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting, was photographed playing basketball in Miami with friends. A photographer got good shots of Tory's hair problem. In the snaps, Tory appeared to be balding in the middle of his hair and he had patches all over.

The photos shocked many because Tory Lanez reportedly had hair restoration work done on his head in the past. He previously spoke about his decision to restore his hair saying, “If you look back at my old pictures, my only issue was my corners were gone.”
He continued, “I fixed my corners and I just let the rest of my hair grow in. Some parts going a little faster than others, so it be a little unequal when I don’t lay it down … I’m coming back with the braids. I’m coming back crazy on y’all. Y’all think it’s a joke.”

Tory said he found his hair doctor through an introduction from Tyga. The rapper said, “I met a doctor that does hair restoration—that n***a is specifically for African American and Latino hair. So, basically, I was going away on my corners."
He added, "They help me do the restoration. It’s not Bosley, though … that’s when they slice your head and do all this weird shit. I didn’t do that. My shit is more so natural.”
After the new photos were released many people had questions about what happened. The Blast spoke to Jacques Abrahamian, MPAS Hair Transplant Specialist, who owns the LA FUE Hair Clinic. He has not worked with Tory personally but offered his opinion on what happened.

Jacques tells us, "Newly leaked Paparazzi photos of Tory Lanez show the rapper is still battling hair-loss after having hair restoration treatment last year. When it comes to Androgenic Alopecia also known as Male Pattern Baldness (MPB), there is no cure, but there are maintenance treatments which can slow down hair-loss."
He continued, "Rumor is Tory has had a combination of Hair Restoration along with Stem Cell Therapy which he proudly discussed during a podcast with BigBoyTV last year."
The expert believes, "Based on the photos leaked, looks like Tory has kept his hairline which was most probably restored by some sort of hair restoration techniques most commonly FUE which stands for Follicular Unit Extraction, which does not leave a linear scar; but based on these photos, looks like Tory has continued to lose his natural native hairs which were not restored.
Because hair-loss is ongoing, and hair transplant is not a cure for hair-loss and it only corrects the affected region, it’s important patients consider taking daily oral medications such as Propecia, using Topical Medications such as Minoxidil, and yearly PRP and Stem Cell Therapy."
As The Blast previously reported, Tory is dealing with much bigger issues than his hair at the moment.
