'RHONJ' Star Jackie Goldschneider On How Husband Evan Reacted To Cheating Rumors

Jackie Goldschneider's husband, Evan Goldschneider, was faced with allegations of potential infidelity during the premiere episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" season 11 earlier this month and during an interview earlier this week, the mother of four explained how he reacted to the shocking turn of events. 

Speaking to Entertainment Tonighton February 24, Jackie said that when Evan learned that Teresa Giudice had been spreading hurtful rumors about him at his own birthday party, he was extremely upset.

"I had to tell Evan and he was just beside himself," she recalled. "He was embarrassed and enraged, and everything was just coming down on me -- and rightfully so. I mean, he was really, really mad."

Following Evan's birthday party on the show, Jackie was told by a co-star that Teresa had been telling everyone that she had heard Evan was doing "stuff" at the gym. Right away, Jackie arranged to meet with Teresa in hopes of getting her to admit that what she said about Evan was not true. 

Unfortunately, Teresa refused to do any such thing and ultimately blew up at Jackie after she compared the situation to a potential false rumor being spread about her daughter, Gia Giudice, 20, using drugs.

After the party drama played out, Goldschneider was left to pick up the pieces at home, even in regard to her four children, Jonas and Adin, 12, and Hudson and Alexis, 10. 

"My kids were upset," Jackie explained. "My daughter, I remember, would cry every night asking if we're going to get divorced. And I'm like, of course we're not going to get divorced over it, but they are not used to us fighting. So, it was a really heavy, emotional week in my house."

Continuing on to Entertainment Tonight, Jackie said that while her drama with Teresa erupted on a television show, it unfortunately did not remain there. 

"I know this exists in 'TV land,' but it also impacts our real life, day to day," she noted. "Millions of people see it, millions of people are reading about it on the internet and he was just beside himself. He was so embarrassed. At the end of the day, he does this show because he loves me, you know?"

Although Evan does have genuine friendships with the other men on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," he doesn't appear on the Bravo reality show for his own gratification. Instead, he does it for his wife, who usually enjoys her time with the women. 

"I think most husbands do. And he loves the show -- he gets along great with all the husbands -- but it's really for me," she shared.
