Gypsy Rose Blanchard dropped the baby bombshell on Tuesday, telling her fans that she and Ken Urker are starting a family of their own.
The news comes a few months after she announced her separation from Ryan Anderson, whom she married while she was still behind bars.
Now, a source is breaking their silence, revealing how Ryan Anderson feels about Gypsy Rose Blanchard having a baby with Ken Urker.
Gypsy Rose Is Pregos!
On Tuesday, Gypsy dropped the bombshell, revealing she is 11 weeks pregnant.
“I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025," she told her fans in the video. "We're both very excited," she added. "This was not planned at all; it was completely unexpected."
"But we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood," Gypsy added before speaking on the drama surrounding her divorce from Ryan Anderson. "It's not about anything other than the tiny little life that's inside you," she told her fans.
"That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that's yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little," the ex-convict added.
How Does Ryan Anderson Feel About The Baby News?
After the news broke, many wondered how Ryan would respond. While he has not publicly commented on his soon-to-be ex having a kid with her new boyfriend (and former ex-fiancé), sources close to the family broke his silence for him.
According to family sources, Gypsy Rose disclosed her pregnancy to her ex, Ryan, a couple of weeks ago. TMZ reported that the special education teacher didn't take the news well as he was still hopeful they could reconcile their marriage.
One source told the outlet, "He didn't take the news well at all." Furthermore, a source close to Gypsy told TMZ that she has "no regrets over being back with her ex-fiancé Ken because she believes he's her person."
Gypsy Rose Rekindles Her Romance With Ken
Ken first proposed to Gypsy in 2018, but he had a change of heart before she was released from prison in 2023. By the time she got out, Gypsy was married to Ryan Anderson, but their marriage didn’t last long. She quickly moved out of Ryan's place and back in with her parents, eventually calling it quits.
Soon after moving out of Ryan's place, she got back together with Ken.
"Ken and I reconnected as friends. It wasn't like, jump out of a marriage and then let me meet up with you, and boom, we're in a relationship," she said after confirming she was back together with Ken. "We had kept a friendship for the longest time. He was in a relationship. I was with Ryan, and so we were living different lives with respect to our partners, a 'wish you the best' type of thing."
"It wasn't until I knew that my marriage was over that I was like, 'I would like to see you and let's hang out because we never got to hang out before when I was in prison'," she added.
Ken Urker Was Gypsy Rose Blanchard's Support Amid Separation From Ryan Anderson
When she was first going through her separation from Ryan, she said, "Ken was that support for me when going through this emotional hardship of crying and then being okay and then crying. Then I let myself open up to the feelings that I've always had for Ken. Those feelings just don't die."
"I would say that Ken is my first love because that's when I honestly felt like a mature love. It wasn't based off of a fantasy," she added. "It was actually based on a connection that two people have for each other."
'Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up'
As The Blast reported, Gypsy was serving a 10-year sentence after she pled guilty to second-degree murder of her mother. She is believed to be a victim of Muenchser by proxy, and so she was eligible for parole. She was released in December.
Her story unfolds in Lifetime's docuseries "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up," and viewers watch her relationship troubles with Ryan Anderson unfold. Soon, they will see her rekindled romance with Ken Urker. New episodes air on Lifetime every Monday.
