Sabrina Carpenter Indulges In Her New 'Espresso' Ice Cream In New Video

“Is it that sweet? I guess so!” Pop icon Sabrina Carpenter launched her new ice cream last month inspired by her hit "Espresso," which she collaborated on with Van Leeuwen.

As expected, the flavor is an espresso base mixed with brownies, chocolate chips, and fudge swirls. It is currently available for purchase at select Van Leeuwen's scoop shops --Plus, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity!

But fans aren't the only ones savoring this delightful new treat. Sabrina Carpenter just posted a TikTok video, and guess what? She's loving her new ice cream, too!

Shortly after the new collab was announced, Ben Van Leeuwen, Van Leeuwen's co-founder and CEO, released a statement, expressing the company's excitement to team up with the "Please Please Please" singer.

"Doing a flavor collab with a genuine Van Leeuwen super fan is always a lot of fun. We’re so excited to celebrate Sabrina and her newest hit with this extremely delicious ice cream," Ben Van Leeuwen said.

"Meet the ice cream you’ll be thinking ‘bout all night," the company shared in an Instagram post last month. "Espresso ice cream. Rich, chewy brownies. Chocolate chips. Swirls of fudge."

And the ice cream is living up to its name!

"Espresso" is arguably the song of the summer, so why not capitalize? The pop icon decided to use the hit as a marketing tool, and it's clearly a slam dunk.

Last month, Sabrina took to her Instagram Stories to share the big news, even using the iconic line "Isn't that sweet" to promote her ice cream.

“Now he’s thinkin’ about me every night / Is it that sweet? I guess so / Say you can’t sleep, baby, I know / That’s that me, espresso / Move it up, down, left, right, oh / Switch it up like Nintendo,” she sings in the chorus of the pop hit song.

This limited edition ice cream has been a hit with fans--and even with Sabrina herself!

In a new video shared on her TikTok page, Sabrina is seen lounging around in gray sweatpants, and a plain blue t-shirt, with her blond hair, pulled back in a messy bun as she scoops from a pint of her "Espresso" ice cream.

While this ice cream was announced last month, and released on June 28, some of her fans missed the memo as they flooded the comments section in disbelief.

"A SABRINA CARPENTER ICE CREAM???" one fan wrote as another echoed, "Wait, Sabrina released ice cream??"

Others couldn't help but point out how "adorable" the pop icon is as she indulges in her ice cream. "STOP BEING SO ADORABLE PLS PLS PLS MY HEART CANT TAKE IT," one of her fans wrote.

"That smile lights up my day," another said.

While the lyrics are catchy, what is the song actually about? Sabrina Carpenter recently spilled the details behind the song of the summer.

In an interview with Apple Music earlier this year, the blonde pop star explained, "There was something really exciting about the fact that there was so much personality throughout the entire song, because those are the ones that are really, really fun to sing live with a crowd. Those are the ones that people, I think, when they don’t know my music or who I am or anything, they can just tune in to a single song and kind of leave with a better idea of my sense of humor.”

She continued, “This was one of those times in my life where I just thought I was the sh-t in the moment. And I think you don’t always feel that way, so you kind of have to capture those moments that you do because that’s how you find those little [gems]."

“For me, equating it to caffeine and that addiction was really fun, and I definitely have a caffeine addiction as it is. So it really ends up being a full circle for me," Sabrina added.

With Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" ice cream being an instant success, fans are begging for more, with one fan asking the "Nonsense" singer for espresso ice cream perfume.

"This better be a lead up to an espresso ice cream perfume because I have sweet tooth and I’m obsessed," they wrote. "But I love coffee-scented perfumes, and that would be so perfect for branding also, like, omg, SABRINA PLS."

Another wants a "Sabrina Carpenter Nespresso" to be released.
