Selena Gomez was living her best life South of the Border as she soaked up rays in Mexico ahead of the global pandemic. In July 2019, the 31-year-old swas photographed frolicking on a white-sand beach as she attended a bachelorette, and the cameras appeared to have caught her at every possible angle. Looking fabulous in a classy white swimsuit, Selena dazzled makeup-free as she hung out with friends and went paddle-boarding, but some had issues with the photos even existing in the first place. Users seeing the snaps on The Daily Mail either body-shamed Selena or sent love. Others, however, deemed the paparazzi presence "invasive."

Padding around sands and near tiki huts with loungers, the pop singer showed off her toned legs and waistline, with a low neckline flashing hints of her cleavage. Carrying a white shirt over one shoulder in some snaps, Selena used a spare hand to clutch her black slides, with some images showing her snacking on fresh pineapple stuck onto cocktail sticks.

Wearing her dark hair scraped into a bun and with a cute white hair tie matching her bathing suit, Selena Gomez made a case for sticking to classic white, although she did get sand all over her backside in one moment. The ex to Justin Bieber, now dating 36-year-old Benny Blanco, also got active with her paddle-boarding, making the most of the ocean setting.

Over 500 comments have been left. The images came long before Selena's January 2024 post regarding her weight, one seeing her admit that she'd "never" be as slender as she was ten years ago. Additionally, the Rare Beauty founder confirmed that her weight can fluctuate on account of the medication she takes for her Lupus condition. While some left trolling remarks, others noted that she suffers from the autoimmune disease and were just happy that she was having a good time.

That said, one user raised the issue of Gomez being photographed while likely unaware of the paparazzi presence.

"This whole article is so invasive. The guy that wrote it needs to check himself," one user wrote as others upvoted the comment. "Leave her alone," another stated. Commenting on Selena Gomez's physique, a third said: "Selena looks great! She was close to death during emergency surgery hence the 5 inch scar at the top of her right leg."
