Gypsy Rose Blanchard Drops Baby Bombshell Amid Divorce

Gypsy Rose Blanchard just shared some big baby news with her fans!

The 32-year-old, who spent the last eight and a half years behind bars for her involvement in her mother's murder, recently rekindled her relationship with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker. As The Blast previously reported, the former convict revealed her split from Ryan Anderson, whom she married in prison, only three months after being released on parole. Gypsy had been serving a ten-year sentence after pleading guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother, Clauddine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard.

Now, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is ready to start the next chapter in her life as a mom!

In a new video shared on her YouTube page, Gypsy told her fans, “I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025.”

The 32-year-old, wearing a white baby doll dress, had the biggest smile as she shared the news. "We're both very excited," she added. "This was not planned at all; it was completely unexpected."

"But we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood," Gypsy added.

After detailing the pregnancy symptoms that she has been dealing with, including random cravings and being over-emotional, she praised her boyfriend for being "very forgiving" throughout the journey thus far.

Aside from the symptoms, Gypsy said, "the rest has been a breeze, and the baby looks healthy [and] happy."

"You know it's still going to be a long journey ahead, but I'm up for it. I feel a shift in myself," she continued. "When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the few between creator and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn't matter anymore. All that matters is that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy."

She then got emotional talking about becoming a mother, reflecting on her own childhood. "It's not about anything other than the tiny little life that's inside you," she told her fans. "That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that's yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little."

Ken first proposed to Gypsy in 2018, but he called it off before her 2023 prison release. At the time of her release, she was married to her now ex, Ryan Anderson, but it was short-lived as she moved out of her home with Ryan and in with her parents before deciding to separate.

Soon thereafter, she got back together with Ken.

"Ken and I reconnected as friends. It wasn't like, jump out of a marriage and then let me meet up with you, and boom, we're in a relationship," she said when announcing her rekindled romance with Ken. "We had kept a friendship for the longest time. He was in a relationship. I was with Ryan, and so we were living different lives with respect to our partners, a 'wish you the best' type of thing."

After announcing her separation from Ryan, the 32-year-old told People Magazine that Ken was someone who was there for her. "It wasn't until I knew that my marriage was over that I was like, 'I would like to see you and let's hang out because we never got to hang out before when I was in prison,'" she said.

"I would say that Ken is my first love because that's when I honestly felt like a mature love. It wasn't based off of a fantasy. It was actually based on a connection that two people have for each other," she continued.

A few weeks after announcing her separation from Ryan Anderson, Gypsy Rose said she was ready to start a family of her own.

“Absolutely, I want kids someday. I think that I’m going to be a good mother,” she told Us Weekly in May. “I think [my boyfriend] Ken would be a wonderful father, and so we’ll see what the future holds for us.”
