Kane Brown, who is currently on his "In The Air" tour, is getting ready to release a brand-new album, something he hasn't done in two years.

“I haven’t had an album out since 2022, but people are still discovering my music, and the tour has been great," he told CASSIUS earlier this year. "My wife and I have four songs I think are ready to go, and I’m just enjoying playing in front of the crowds. I can’t say exactly when the new music drops, but we’ll have something for the masses coming very soon,” the artist added.

Kane and his wife, Katelyn Jae, broke the internet after releasing a collaborative song, "Thank God," which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is Kane's most successful song to date on that particular chart.

On Monday, the country music artist shared a video on his Instagram Stories, teasing some new music. While fans cannot hear Kane singing in the clip, they can hear guitar strings in the background.

In addition to teasing new music with his wife, the "Miles On It" singer also revealed that he teamed up with Jelly Roll for a "powerful" song.

"I have a song with Jelly Roll, so that's really cool," he shared with Entertainment Tonight. "It's talking about, like, depression and, you know, you could have everything in the world, but as long as you don't talk to someone about it, you're still gonna go through those things."

"It's a very powerful song and I'm blessed to have Jelly on it," he added. "Because he goes through the same thing."

Earlier this year, Kane Brown shared his thoughts on the significance of country music to its fans and how it unites people.

“Country music has so many fans from all walks of life because it really is a song for everybody,” he told CASSIUS. “Some people might feel like the support coming in for the music is new, but we’ve seen nothing but fans coming together and enjoying the music."

He added, "It doesn’t matter what brings them there because we want people to listen to and enjoy country music, so the more, the merrier.”

Kane Brown has been open about his upbringing, including growing up with an incarcerated father, living in a car with his mother, and enduring physical abuse from his stepfather. But there was one good influence in his life: his grandmother.

“I think one of my favorite kid stories in my mind was… playing basketball without being able to afford basketball shoes… So I had these water shoes… that I thought made me super fast," Kane told Extra TV. "My Nana, she got upset one day because she couldn’t buy me new basketball shoes, and everybody had them, and I was out there on the basketball court in these water shoes, and I looked at her, and I told her, I was like, ‘Nana, it's okay,’ I was like, ‘These shoes make me faster than everybody.’”

After his first recorded collaboration with his wife Katelyn went viral, many wondered if she would enter the music industry, but Kane says that won't happen.

“She doesn’t want to be an artist — she just loves singing,” he told Billboard. “She’s always singing around the house and her voice is beautiful. We’ve been looking for songs and probably went through about five of them before we got this one from one of my writers at [publishing company] Verse 2 and it was supposed to be a solo song. We changed it to a duet, and she fell in love with this song."

"Personally, I think it is the biggest song off the record," the artist added.
