A new season of the "Real Housewives of Orange County" is right around the corner, and Shannon Beador is shedding light on her DUI run-in with the cops in the preview.
The 60-year-old is set to give her fans a rundown of one of the most shocking moments of her life on the new season of the reality show while clearing up a misconception about her drinking habits.
Shannon Beador has definitely had a tumultuous past year with the DUI, an ongoing legal battle with her ex-boyfriend John Janssen, and his controversial decision to couple up with a familiar face in her circle.
Shannon Beador's Narrates Details Surrounding Her Accident Last September
The preview of Thursday's premiere of "Real Housewives of Orange County" opened on a bloody note as Beador gave fans a peek of her injured face following a DUI episode that landed her behind bars last September.
Beador came clean in the chat with her TV co-star Heather Dubrow that the accident happened moments after she got into a shouting match with her ex-boyfriend Janssen.
Moments later, she lost control of the wheel in a Newport Beach residential area and crashed into a property.
She then proceeded to show her friend a picture from the night with half her face covered in blood and trickling down her neck. The sight evoked a shocking "Oh, Shannon! Oh my God!" reaction from Dubrow, per Page Six.

News of the accident sparked up a conversation among her co-stars in the preview, who gave their opinion about Beador's alcohol consumption in her absence.
Prior to the talk, Beador declared to Emily Simpson that she only takes two drinks maximum when the latter quizzed if she would consider sobriety. Dubrow also confessed to Tamra Judge that she very much thinks Beador has an alcohol problem.
The reality star then caught up with the RHOC cast over dinner and disclosed that she thinks about the incident every morning as Judge chimed in to ask her if the reflection happens after she takes alcohol.
A distraught Beador expressed her displeasure over Judge and her fellow co-stars' side comments in a confessional in the preview, saying, "I'm done with people saying I'm the drunk that needs help because I am not."

The TV star who narrowly avoided jail time after accepting a plea deal following the nasty accident completed her court-mandated community service way before the deadline as proof that she's a completely law-abiding citizen.
The Blast reported that Beador was required to undertake 40 hours of community service before July 16, 2024, and she completed this nearly a month before, on June 13, over a four-day duration through a nonprofit organization.
She also embraced a sober lifestyle after the arrest and was spotted by an eyewitness last December taking only water on a night out with friends at the season 2 premiere of Amazon's "Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis" series.
Aside fromher community service, the reality star is expected to complete a mandatory nine-month First Offender Alcohol program in addition to her voluntarily enrolling in an outpatient behavioral wellness program that featured an alcohol segment.
Inside The Socialite's Legal Battle With Her Ex

The blonde beauty's relationship struggles seemingly triggered her DUI incident, and it has not gone away yet.
In April, she addressed an ongoing legal battle with her ex-boyfriend on "Jeff Lewis Live," spilling serious tea about the alleged loan drama and Janssen's role in escalating the situation.
Janssen claimed he lent the reality star $75,000 for a beauty procedure, which Beador denied, and then further clarified that her ex lent her money twice while they were together, but there was no official agreement.
Beador shared that she was ordered to come up with a payment plan despite her offering to return the exact amount to her former partner, which he refused "because he did not want to sign a mutual nondisparagement agreement," which prevents either party from speaking ill of the other.
John Janssen Is Moving On With Shannon Beador's 'RHOC' Co-star
The Blast recently shared that the Bravo star's ex has an engagement coming on the horizon with another RHOC co-star amid their legal back and forth, and the beauty involved has no regrets about her new flame.
Alexis Bellino, who made a return to the show, has yet to make plans to seek approval from Beador on her relationship with Janssen, which made the news last December and was welcomed by lots of backlash.
The reality star does not seem fazed by the comments, reiterating that her relationship was not for clout and that they are excited about starting a future together after looking at engagement rings.
Reports coming from Beador's quarters do not reflect the same emotion as the 60-year-old claimed was completely blindsided by the breakup. The news of their relationship is still a bitter pill to swallow despite ending things with Janssen in November 2022.
