Pink, born Alecia Moore, has returned to the stage after recently canceling her July 3 show.

Known for her elaborate performances and jaw-dropping trapeze skills, Pink had to miss a show earlier this week due to illness. Now, she is back and ready to continue performing in front of her fans with more stellar performances on her Summer Carnival Tour.

On Tuesday, Pink apologized to her thousands of fans who were planning on going to the show on Wednesday, as she had to cancel at the last minute due to an illness.

"I am so sorry that I have had to cancel my show in Bern this Wednesday," she said on Instagram earlier this week. "I do everything I can to ensure I can perform for you every night, but after consultation with my doctor and exploring all options available, I’ve been advised that I’m unable to continue with the show tomorrow."

The artist said she "was looking forward to being with you and making memories with you and sharing our show with you," expressing her disappointment in having to cancel. She revealed that all tickets will be refunded.

The "Get The Party Started" singer officially returned to the stage on Saturday, July 6, to continue her Summer Carnival tour in Copenhagen, Denmark.

“Let’s do this, Copenhagen,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories, sharing a selfie. “Let’s kick some a--.” The artist also shared a post to her feed, writing, “I’m back COPENHAGEN and we are going to shake our JUICY BOOTIES together tonight!!!!!!!”

This wasn't the first time Pink has had to cancel a show at the last minute. Last year, a family emergency forced her to cancel two of her shows in Tacoma.

Pink's Troubling Past

Pink is a successful artist, but it hasn't always been easy for the 44-year-old. In a recent "60 Minutes" interview, she shared with the world that she nearly derailed her path to stardom before it even began due to an overdose at a Thanksgiving rave in 1995.

“I was on ecstasy, angel dust, crystal, all kinds of things. And then I was out. Done. Too much,” she said, per Billboard, adding that she also engaged in selling drugs for a period and came close to losing her life before receiving a life-changing opportunity from a DJ at the event.

"And I remember my friend was standing over me, smacking me across the face. And he was like, 'Get up. You wanna sing, right?' And I was like, 'Yeah.' He's like, 'Get on the microphone.' So I got up and I sang," she said. "And the DJ there took me aside and said, 'Come back tomorrow, I'll give you a guest spotlight. But you can never touch drugs again.' And I never did, haven't since."

Weeks later, she landed her first gig with a short-lived R&B group signed to LaFace Records, paving the way for her multiplatinum solo career.

“I never got a record deal because I was cute; I got a record deal because I was fiery, I had a lot to say, and I had a voice,” she said on "60 Minutes."

“I’m relieved I don’t have to fall back on conventional beauty and that doesn’t have to be my thing and I don’t have to keep that up, either, as I age. I don’t have to be that. I can be all this.”

The Summer Carnival Tour

The tour, promoting her ninth studio album, "Trustfall," kicked off in June 2023 at the University of Bolton Stadium in England. It is set to wrap up this November in Miami, Florida.

Pink is known for her acrobatics and trapeze tricks as she puts on an entire show, not just a concert.

"I'm not just a singer. I'm a gymnast," Pink told CBS. "I can do all kinds of things. I'm physical. This body, like, this, the muscles that, that scare people are — it's my power, right? It's like, I don't eat well to look good, I eat well to go far, fast, and hard."

The Summer Carnival Tour is already the eighth highest-grossing concert tour by a female artist.
