Mandy Moore & Taylor Goldsmith Are Finally Mom & Dad

Mandy Moore is finally a mommy and she is over the moon about it, as is her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, for having become a father. They welcomed their little boy who according to them, arrived punctually and with minimal fuss. 

A new baby is always happy news, and for the Moore-Goldsmith family, it's especially joyful because they did not have an easy pregnancy, and in fact, Moore had trouble conceiving as well.  

Wishes and blessings have poured in for the little baby and the happy parents... 

The happy announcement came in September 2020, with a set of loving B&W pictures of the couple with Goldsmith's hand o her belly. 

The pictured were captioned as, "Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021" and considering they had tied the knot in 2018, the duo was more than ready to enter into the state of parenthood. 

Mandy herself said in interviews before that she was more than ready to be a mother, although later, she did share that she was having some fertility struggles as well.  

Moore also opened up to Romper about her fertility issues and the fact that right before they got to know that she was expecting, the doctors suspected endometriosis. Said Mandy, "We did ovulation tests, all that stuff,".

The fertility specialist even told her that her getting pregnant without treatment would be slim pickings, and Moore admitted that she was more than ready to have any and all treatment that would make them ready to have a baby when Baby Boy Goldsmith made his presence known!

And Moore was waiting for him with bated breath!

On February 23rd, Mandy Moore made the sweetest social media announcement yet, with an adorable picture of the little one, all dressed in blue. 

Wrote she, "Gus is here ????. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.

The wishes are pouring in. 

Later, Mandy also shared the story behind the adorable name, because the couple got to know they were expecting a baby boy in August, which also happened to be Goldsmith's birth month...

And this blanket, is one gorgeous gift with a story behind it too, as Moore wrote, "...for our anniversary in November, T gifted me with this blanket with the “A” (for Amanda) made from extra material from my wedding dress and “T” (for Taylor) from his wedding shirt. Felt like a very fitting amalgamation of our whole story."

Sweet, and stunning, and simply perfect, right?
