Hunter Biden is learning the hard way that he cannot run from his responsibilities as a father.
President Joe Biden's infamous second son is back in the news for allegedly trying to hide his illegitimate daughter with Lunden Roberts. The child's mother recently dropped shocking truths about her ex in an upcoming tell-all memoir.
Hunter Biden, who is no stranger to controversy, was convicted on three federal gun charges last month.
Hunter Biden Allegedly Asked His Ex To Single-Parent Their Daughter
A snippet from Roberts' upcoming memoir "Out of the Shadows: My Life Inside the Wild World of Hunter Biden" captured the alleged moment the infamous first son tried to bribe her with hush money.
She claimed Hunter initially refused to acknowledge their daughter Navy Joan's existence and denied sleeping with her. But things changed in 2019 when a DNA test confirmed he was Navy Joan's father.
Roberts noted Hunter switched from denial to trying to avoid responsibility, reaching out to her lawyer through his legal reps and claiming he was "broke." Per RadarOnline, she reflected on the moment in disbelief, writing:
"It was just proven that he's the father, and the first thing he comes back with is, 'I'm broke.' How about 'I'm sorry?' How about taking accountability for your child?"

Roberts stressed that she never pursued Hunter for his wealth but for their daughter's sake. "I don't care if you're broke, and your child won't care either. All she wants is a father," the doting mother claimed in her book.
Unfortunately for Roberts, her disappointment increased while conversing with her lawyer, who told her, "But that's not the biggie. He wants to know if you would like to single-parent adopt Navy?"
"Adopt her? Are you f—king kidding me? So then he has no obligations and avoids responsibility?" Roberts replied, prompting her attorney to drop another bombshell: "They even asked if you would sign an NDA to not discuss the results."
"Oh, hell no. They can shove that NDA up the ass and their f—king offer," Roberts responded, and her lawyer revealed Hunter had agreed to drop "$250,000" to sweeten the deal.

Roberts confessed she was shocked by Hunter's deal, noting he had hurt her before, "but this is a new hurt, a mother's hurt for her daughter, my heart breaks for her."
The hush money was the last straw for her, and she refused to let the infamous first son escape without consequences.
"I wanted to do this the best way to not harm him, but f-ck him," she recalled telling her lawyer, "'You tell him I said eat sh-t, motherf—ker. Do whatever you have to do ... I'm sick of this sh-t. Chew him up and spit him out. I don't care about the details."
After encouraging her lawyer to wage war on Hunter, Roberts recalled getting off the phone and watching her daughter sleep beside her, wondering, "How could anyone not want this perfect angel."

True to her words, Roberts dragged Hunter to court and won her Paternity lawsuit against him in May 2019. However, the legal victory did not mean the Biden household welcomed her daughter with open arms.
In her memoir, Roberts claimed President Joe Biden had not acknowledged his 5-year-old granddaughter. She stressed that he had not met Navy to date, a problem Hunter's other children don't seem to have.
Counting Navy's existence, Hunter has welcomed five children with three different women. His first three children — Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy — were born during his marriage to Kathleen Buhle.
Hunter's youngest son, Beau Biden Jr., is the product of his relationship with his current wife, Melissa Cohen, per PEOPLE. The 54-year-old reportedly maintains a close relationship with his children, although his addictions have negatively impacted their bond in the past.
Hunter Biden Was Found Guilty Of Three Felony Firearm Charges
In June, The Blast reported that Hunter was found guilty of three felony firearm charges related to a 2018 weapon purchase. He allegedly provided false information by denying his addictions on the purchase form.
Because he chose "no" to question, "Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?" Hunter was accused of illegally purchasing the firearm and found guilty at trial.
Moments after the guilty verdict, Hunter's father addressed the situation in a statement, partly saying: "I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal."
"Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support. Nothing will ever change that," Joe concluded.
