Rumors of marital woes have been swirling around Hollywood power couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, and now a source close to the pair has confirmed that their marriage has been "over for months" now.
While the actress vacationed in Italy some weeks ago, Affleck reportedly moved his things out of their shared $60 million Bel-Air mansion, which they've since placed on the market for $65 million.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have also reportedly auctioned off artworks and other items from their home and are now understood to be "focused on their separate lives."
Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck's Marriage Has Been 'Over For Months'
It seems Lopez and Affleck's marriage has been over for much longer. According to Page Six, an insider recently disclosed that the embattled couple's marriage has been "over for months."
The insider shared that they've been apart from each other since March, but Affleck remains "very protective of Jennifer."
The "Let's Get Loud" singer and the "Argo" actor have rarely been seen together in recent times and Lopez took a solo vacation trip to Italy to afford her a change of environment.
"Jen loves vacationing in Europe during the summer. It's been nice for her to experience a change of pace and have some breathing room," a source told ET. "She has been having a blast with her friends. They love to go to fun dinners, have late nights, lay out in the sun, get dressed up, dance, and shop."
The Couple Are Selling Off Their Properties
To further fuel rumors of their "imminent" divorce, reports surfaced suggesting that Lopez and Affleck had begun auctioning some prized possessions in their shared $60 million mansion.
A source told Page Six that collectors and buyers purchased "art and some pieces" that were "newly on sale" from their house in an auction that took place in early June.
It comes after they placed the 12-bedroom Wallingford estate on the market for $65 million, with Affleck relocating into a $100k-a-month Brentwood rental home near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their three children.
One source told People magazine that Lopez and Affleck "never" really liked their marital home as the "Good Will Hunting" actor thought it "too far away from his kids," while the "Ain't Your Mama" singer thought it "too big for her."
Ben Affleck Moved His Things Out While She Wasn't Around
While Lopez enjoyed her vacation on the pristine waters of Italy, where she was seen sunbathing on a boat ride with friends, Affleck reportedly went to their marital home to clear out his belongings, further fueling reports of a pending divorce.
"Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He's been there for about two months now," a source told People. "He seems okay. He's been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He's also spending time with his kids."
According to the news outlet, the pair "don't have any summer plans together" and are now "focused on their separate lives." An insider shared that Lopez "enjoyed her trip to Europe" and that she "has more travel planned, but is back in L.A. for now."
Jennifer Lopez Has Reportedly Given Up On Their Marriage
It comes after another source shared that Lopez has given up on trying to salvage what's left of her marriage to Affleck.
According to the Daily Mail, an industry insider shared that Lopez is "over" trying to fix the situation and has now realized that she can't do any "more" to save her relationship with Affleck.
"Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it's not getting any better, it's worse," the source told the news outlet, adding that Lopez is "shocked" by the bad press she's been getting.
"If people could see what she has really gone through they would be easier on her. Ben is a great guy but he can be grumpy and a downer," the insider continued. "I think the world saw that in photos like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wouldn't smile. If they saw how it really was, they would not attack her."
The Singer Is Said To Be 'Heartbroken' That Her Marriage Is 'Completely Over'
Sources close to Lopez claimed that the actress is down in the dumps about the state of her marriage.
The singer, who recently returned from a trip to Italy, seems to have given up on any hope of reconciliation and is "heartbroken" that a divorce might happen soon.
"The marriage is completely over, and Jennifer is heartbroken," an insider told Fox News Digital about Lopez. "She loves love and wanted this to work so badly."
