Dua Lipa Collaborating With Daft Punk!? Drops Major Hints On Instagram!

Dua Lipa hasn’t exactly been subtle in her latest music endeavors. If anything, the 25-year-old performer has set the precedent for many music artists and entertainers over the last several years in particular. Her husky vocals paired with a love for previous generations’ music styles (particularly in the 80s and 90s) has made her a retro-pop icon.

Her last song “We’re Good” continues to perform well on streaming platforms and her music video did well on YouTube. Ironically, some people actually associated the music video with the lobsters that were seen throughout.

Although not exactly a surprise, it wasn’t foreseen that Dua would be seeking to collaborate musically with another famous retro artist, namely Daft Punk.

The electronic/dance/disco-styled artists are renowned for their catchy rhythms and frequent collaborations with popular artists across multiple genres.

And just to set the record straight, Dua has not officially stated that she is seeking a project with the robot-helmeted performers, but she did post what looks like a hint about the possibility! Furthermore, she has never posted anything related to these long-time stars, so this is also a distinct move on Dua’s part.

Dua shared two different pictures of the two members of Daft Punk unofficially. That is, she shared them on her Instagram Stories, which will expire in less than 24 hours. Fans still don’t know what to make of the pictures, but it isn’t an unrealistic thought to assume that she intends to make music with the robot duo.

Furthermore, the success of her latest music could very well have been the catalyst for this surprise announcement. No longer is she a “rising star”, but has now become inseparable from the biggest names in the music industry.
