'Counting On' Alum Jana Duggar Returns To Social Media With 'Life Update' After 2022 Arrest Rumors

Jana Duggar surprises fans with a rare life update after falling off the grid in 2022!

The "Counting On" alum showcased how well she has been living away from the drama her controversial family name brings with a deep dive into her farm-related projects.

Jana's social media comeback comes two years after she made waves for allegedly getting arrested over a child endangerment charge.

Jana dropped the unexpected life update on her YouTube channel, sharing a 4-minute video about how she has been faring away from the spotlight.

The clip showed her tending to the farm, caring for animals like goats, and carrying out a massive project on the family's Arkansas compound.

"So it's been a little while since I've shared an update. So I wanted to show you all what we've been up to the past few months on the farm and some fun projects that we've been working on," the 34-year-old said at the start of the clip.

The scene changed to Jana cleaning an old shed with her siblings before narrating how she and her brother Joe had purchased farm animals for their family.

"Last year, Joe and I were talking about getting sheep and goats, and so we went to the auction and bought a whole truckload of them," she recalled.

Because more herbivores were on the farm, Jana and her siblings had to build a fence to protect the garden from the sheep and goats. The concluding scenes depicted the construction process and, finally, the fantastic wooden enclosure.

The YouTube video generated hundreds of positive comments from fans excited about Jana's return to the spotlight. "Not ashamed at all to say I clicked this video INSTANTLY! Lovely to see you, Jana!" Someone penned.

"We need a show of you doing projects! Think about it. No drama, no personal life details, just you doing projects," another echoed, with a third chiming, "Please keep posting inspirational content like this. You have been missed!"

"Jana.....I didn't realize you had so much interest in every aspect of farming.....from the garden to all of the animals. You are a beautiful person and such an inspiration to your younger siblings," a YouTube user declared, adding:

"I think people need to remember that despite some really bad decisions by certain people in your family, your parents did an amazing job bringing such beautiful spirits into this world!"

Jana's social media comeback comes two years after she was rumored to have been arrested for child endangerment. At the time, she addressed the viral speculations on her Instagram Story with a lengthy statement about what happened.

"I'm only sharing this because the media has been having a field day with it all. I prefer a more private life, but I know my last name means that everything we do is open to public criticism and interest, especially during this time," the 34-year-old began, per In Touch.

"The raw facts: I was babysitting a few months ago when one of the children wandered outside alone. A passerby who saw the child called the police," Jana explained, adding:

"This resulted in a written citation, as well as a follow-up with child welfare who concluded that it was an accident and the child was unharmed."

In her statement, Jana stressed that everything "happened so quickly and was scary." However, authorities understood her case was that of a "child slipping out of the house when you turn your back for a moment."

"I was certainly never arrested like some may have implied. In the end, I was just upset at myself that it had happened at all, but so thankful it all ended safely and that's truly what mattered the most to me," the TLC alum concluded her post.

As for her punishment, Jana was reportedly given a $430 fine linked with the citation that the reality star didn't have to pay until her court hearing on January 10, 2022. Following the incident, the Duggar family echoed their support for the 34-year-old on social media platforms.

Jana's sister, Jessa Duggar, defended her on her Instagram Story while slamming the negative attention her sibling was receiving over the incident. She stressed that it “could have happened to anyone,” adding:

"It was an innocent mistake. She was babysitting, and one of the kids slipped out the door unnoticed, but it ended safely. She’s without question one of the most amazing women I know, and I’d trust her with my kids any day of the week."

Jana's younger brothers, James and Jason Duggar, echoed similar sentiments on their Instagram Stories. While their cousin, Amy King (née Duggar), penned:

"I will call out what is right, and I will call out what is wrong. This couldn’t have been intentional. Thank God the child was OK and found! … It’s a very sad situation going on, and my heart goes out to [Jana]. Love you."
