Phoebe Dynevor received mixed feedback to her 2022 Met Gala look, one seeing her repping the Louis Vuitton brand she is now signed to. Joining stars at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as that year's theme challenged celebrities to honor the In America: An Anthology of Fashion theme, the actress stunned in a sheer, mesh black dress with a lacy bodice and overlayered miniskirt, but not everyone seeing her fashion choice approved. While her Instagram fans left over 900,000 likes, users on The Daily Mail were less keen. While one called her look "awful," another said that it would be better "for the bedroom."

Phoebe Dynevor Goes Sheer At Met Gala

Scroll for the photos. Flashing her toned legs and hints of her tummy in her sleeveless gown, Phoebe placed her hands on her waist as she drew the eye from her sheer and opaque bodice to her layered skirt. Noting that they'd loved a prior look from Phoebe, another replied: "She looked so charming at the Prince's Trust thing. Well, I suppose that's a very different crowd. The Met Gala used to be a classy event but now it's overrun with reality show people and B-listers. Oh well..."

Last Laugh As Louis Vuitton Ambassador

Phoebe may have had a few trolls mocking her Louis Vuitton look, but she's having the last laugh. The star is now a global ambassador for the Kardashian-adored designer, joining high-profile LV ambassadors Zendaya and Ana de Armas. In May, she was flown out to attend the Louis Vuitton Show in Barcelona, Spain.

"I really feel so very lucky to witness @nicolasghesquiere spectacular @louisvuitton shows but this one was particularly special. Holy smokes. Gracias Barcelona," she wrote on Instagram, tagging the brand's Creative Director. While she no longer stars on Netflix series Bridgerton, Phoebe Dynevor and her $2 million net worth are still turning heads.
