The sitcom star, aged 18 at the time, sizzled in a sparkly silver number very similar to one just worn by makeup mogul Kylie Jenner, but fans weren't just eyeing up the near-identical looks. When The Daily Mail published photos of Ariel showing off her curvy figure in her slinky dress and high heels, users wondered whether she'd picked the right gown.

Going skintight with a nude sheer layer under bedazzled crystals in silver, the Modern Family star kept jazzy with all that glitter, with sheer aspects around the bust accentuating her braless cleavage.

Adding in strappy high heels in silver, Ariel made the most of her thigh-flashing slit, getting leggy in her head-turning gown as she glammed up with stud diamond earrings. The actress, now 26, wore a sleek, low bun, keeping her locks away from her face as she highlighted her features via a full face of makeup. Ariel had chosen designer Yousef Al-Jasmi for her look, one clearly not getting the full approval from everyone who saw it.

While Ariel Winter has been body-shamed by trolls and has dropped 30 pounds since the photos were taken, it didn't seem that users were out to shame her.

"I know she's proud of her figure as she's been working on it so I hate to say this that dress is extremely unflattering for her figure," another fan stated. In 2019, Ariel slimmed down after switching her antidepressant medication, although that also caused a storm as trolls accused her of shedding weight via drug use. The actress clapped back, confirming that prescription medication was all she'd taken.
