Gymnast Nastia Liukin Hikes Up Leg With Thigh Gap Surprise

Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is hiking up her leg in spandex micro-shorts for a massive surprise. The 31-year-old five-time Olympic athlete, who boasts her own skincare collab with Volition, today took a break from her Nastia Cup countdown and massive thigh gap drama to highlight something that hasn't been mentioned in a while. Nastia, who retails her own $55 Celery Green Cream with Volition, made Saturday a giant leg yank to promote her product, but there was a teaser. Check it out below.

If you don't live inside Nastia's Instagram, the 2008 all-around champion is currently facing a storm centering around poolside pretty-in-pink photos of her shared ahead of the weekend. The Russian-born star, who had taken time to both count down to the 12th annual Nastia Cup and shout out Texas' snowstorm disaster, was targeted by a fan claiming she doesn't care enough about the crisis – Liukin lives in Dallas, TX, and has since clapped back over the pool shots showing her insane thigh gap.

Uploading fresh shots for her 1 million Instagram followers on Saturday, Nastia shared a stunning, flexible, and sun-drenched photo showing her on an outdoor stone seat and backed by lush greenery. The blonde, all tiny white shorts and wearing a pale pink hoodie, had her left leg hiked right up above her head, seen holding a pot of her $55 face cream.
With blowing hair and a direct gaze, seemingly shutting out the thigh gap drama, Nastia wrote: "SWIPE UP TO SHOP" as she reminded fans the product is available at Sephora.

Nastia, who faced an anorexia storm in October 2020 and clapped back then, did the same to the fan. "TO THE PERSON TELLING ME TO "READ THE ROOM" – AND I DIDN'T EVEN "TWEET" ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN TEXAS," she began, adding:
"Judge me on my actions. Not on what you perceive through an Instagram post. I'm on the ground in Texas doing what I can to help people. What are you doing besides perpetuating cancel culture and dragging people down online without having a conversation first?"

The steely body that comes with a likewise rock-hard personality, seems to be making for news stories as Liukin steadily shuts down the shamers. Following her anorexia storm, the gymnast faced accusations that she only fuels her 6.30 a.m. starts with black coffee, something she called ludicrous. More recently, Nastia has also clapped back at her "gross skinny chicken legs," reminding the troll using the term that those legs won her all those medals.
