In her latest Instagram update, Raisa shared multiple pictures of herself smiling and even a video of her cute little dance while meeting the vice president at the reproductive freedom event.

However, behind her radiant expression was the emotional turmoil she had endured after finding out about the poor state of her reproductive health.

"I've been very open about my health, especially my PCOS. But in the past two weeks, things took a serious turn," Raisa confessed in the post's caption, adding:

Raisa Laments The Insufficient Research In Women's Health

The actress admitted she was shocked by her latest diagnosis, stressing that she took great care of her health and body. Unfortunately, doing her best could not cover up for the lack of improvement in women's healthcare systems.

"With all the advances in medicine, there still isn't enough research being done into women's specific health care to really understand how women like me are able to ensure our opportunity to have a healthy life and family," Raisa lamented.

"Instead, our rights as women, including access to critical (and sometimes necessary) health care, are being attacked- and it pisses me off!" the 35-year-old declared, noting that she didn't "hesitate" when VP Harris asked her to "participate in a fireside chat in Arizona to discuss women's rights and reproductive freedoms."

"Let's keep up the fight, people - if not for you, for your mothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, best friends, and all the women in your life who deserve to live with dignity and respect!"
