Meghan Markle is allegedly not going to be happy about the recent camaraderie between Prince William and Taylor Swift.

The Prince of Wales and his children were seen backstage taking a selfie with the pop star during one of Swift's concerts at Wembley Stadium.

Royal commentators now claim that Meghan Markle would be displeased by the encounter after Taylor Swift turned down a personal invite to be on the Duchess of Sussex's podcast.

Prince William attended Swift's Eras Tour show at Wembley on Friday, June 21, with his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to support the pop star on the first night.

After the concert, the "Anti-Hero" singer met up with the royals and took selfies backstage with the trio.

While many have been delighted to see the prince and his kids pose with Swift, Royal commentators have taken the chance to bring the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, into the conversation, claiming she would be unhappy about the pop star's move.

"If there's one thing Meghan covets above all else is celebrity attention, and the former actress probably isn't going to be happy with Taylor Swift making time for William and his children," Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi said, per the Daily Express.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield also claimed that seeing the trio together hurt the former actress even more because Meghan had previously invited Swift to appear on her "Archetypes" podcast, which she allegedly turned down.

Royal fans also overanalyzed the selfie, with many taking to X to claim that Swift and William were "shading" Harry and Meghan.

According to the royal commentator, Swift, who has a "very good history" with Prince William, was seemingly letting the world know that she had "chosen a side" amid the ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the royal family.

Swift and William met in 2013 at a charity event, where they sang along with music legend Jon Bon Jovi to his iconic song, "Livin' On A Prayer."

At the Winter Whites Gala, held at Kensington Palace, Swift gave a speech, introducing herself: "I'm Taylor. It is very nice to meet you, especially under these circumstances."

Swift later talked about her encounter with the prince, saying, "He was very funny. I was really happy he was funny."

Recent observations suggest that Swift isn't the only top celebrity to have sided with the Waleses.

David and Victoria Beckham have also reportedly distanced themselves from the Sussexes, with Victoria reportedly giving Meghan the "cold shoulder" when her team reached out for a dress.

According to Closer, an insider dished about the situation: "Meghan has been told that both Victoria and David may have disapproved of how she and Harry have behaved over the last few months and Meghan has noticed Vic pulling back, but never expected her to freeze her out like this."

They added, "She feels personally ghosted by Victoria and feels that the relationship is now broken beyond repair."

Recently, Meghan was criticized by royal commentators and fans after photos of new American Riviera Orchard products were launched online, a few hours before Kate Middleton's comeback at the Trooping the Colour event.

Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti had some harsh words for the former actress and her husband, saying, "Everyone is tired of Meghan and Harry and their antics."

Sacerdoti told TMZ that it was "predicted" that the Sussexes "might try and do something that would steal the thunder of the royal family."

However, the expert admitted that it may have just been a coincidence, especially since the photos of the ARO raspberry jam and dog treats were shared by Harry and Meghan's friend, Nacho Figueras, who is a professional polo player.

Around the time Harry and Meghan visited Nigeria for a humanitarian tour, the Invictus Games founder told People Magazine that similar tours should be expected from them in the future.

"There's only so much one can do from home and over Zoom, so we look forward to traveling more because the work matters," Harry told the outlet.

However, according to a royal expert, Louise Roberts, the couple's willingness to go on more tours is in "direct contradiction" to their previous claims of a need for privacy.

Roberts said, per Express, "In May, after their successful 'faux royal tour,' Harry made the comment that they want to do more of this, so there's the people who were obsessed with their privacy, but a world tour of course is a direct contradiction to that."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were warmly received in Nigeria and have since expressed a desire to return to the country, fueling rumors of a "world tour."
