Todd Chrisley says the rumors that “Chrisley Knows Best” has been canceled are false, and assures fans “we are getting back to work.”
The USA reality star spoke out on social media Thursday regarding stories that the network has severed ties with the famous family following Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s arrest for tax evasion earlier this week.
Sharing a lengthy post on Instagram, Todd stated, “Trust and believe that we are holding the right hand of God on this walk we are on, if he brings us to it he will bring us through it.”
He continued, “Please don’t fall victim to false prophets, don’t give attention to the attention seekers, stay steady on your course, grieve the loss of ones you love that didn’t love you, pray for them even though they have wronged you, forgive them for yourself and ask God to move them on.”
Touching on the subject of the family’s reality show, Todd wrote, “We are getting back to work after this distraction and our show hasn’t been cancelled.”
Thanking those who have “supported us on this journey we call life,” he states, “we love you with all of our hearts , the kindness we have been shown yesterday and through this process has been overwhelming.”
Ending his post by putting faith in God’s hands, much like his daughter, Savannah, stated after they were indicted, Todd writes, “God is good, we drop our hands and surrender to God and will let God do the rest, you can’t claim FAITH and still express FEAR.”
The Chrisley’s appeared in a federal courthouse in Atlanta to face multiple charges of bank fraud and tax evasion, and pled not guilty on Wednesday.
The judge issued each star a bond of $100,000 and also required that both of their passports be surrendered before they were released from custody.
After the hearing, the couple walked out with smiles on their faces as their lawyer addressed the press, saying, “We’re gonna fight it and we’re gonna win. They are innocent of every single charge.
As The Blast reported, the famous duo turned themselves into authorities before appearing in court after two warrants were issued for their arrest.
The warrants were issued as part of Todd and Julie’s new criminal case accusing them of bank fraud.
The couple has been charged with 11 counts related to bank fraud and tax evasion.
According to the federal sentencing guidelines, the reality stars are facing up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
