Emily Ratajkowski Asked If Her String Bikini Is 'Floss'

Emily Ratajkowski already had The Sun dubbing her criss-cross swimwear "bizarre" in 2017, and it looks like others had opinions about her Sydney, Australia beach look. Soaking up rays Down Under, the supermodel stripped down to one of her skimpiest swimsuits to date, flaunting her jaw-dropping body and definitely turning heads. Rocking black swimwear with lots of banding and added string ties, Emily had one fan on Instagram querying if the whole thing was "floss," and it's not rocket science why they reached that conclusion.

Standing amid other beachgoers in one photo, the 33-year-old lifted her hands to her head, flashing her ample cleavage and toned abs in her plunging two-piece.

Choosing a triangle top and "patch-on" bottoms, Emily left little the imagination in her busty look, accentuating her tiny waist and abs with three stringy bands, ones tied up in a knot and almost feeding into her high-waisted briefs.

Nailing the barely there trend, Emily looked confident as she enjoyed her shorefront day, keeping glam in dark shades while also wearing hoop earrings. The Inamorata founder sported her dark locks down for a relaxed feel, with next-to-no makeup bringing out her clear skin. Further photos showed Emily Ratajkowski padding around sands while carrying an iced coffee, with some showing a rear view as the catwalk queen braved a cheeky thong.

When the images were reposted to an Instagram fan account in late 2021, users quickly commented. "She has an amazing body, but how does the back look I wonder? Is it G-string? Just some strings of floss tied together...," one asked. Adding a laughing emoji, another said: "This woman hates clothing," although plenty sent Emily fire and heart emoji.

Emily Ratajkowski, whose net worth sits at $8 million, has built herself an empire via her Inamorata swim and lingerie line, founded in 2017.

"I grew up in southern California and it really was a culture of girls living in their swimsuits," she told Elle. "Here was this real confidence, and it was non-sexual, just women doing their thing, you know?" Of her best-selling brand, the London-born sensation continued: "Swim has always been fun. I was always a girl who collected a million bathing suits, and I didn't have a go-to swimwear company, and I didn't have a go-to underwear company. For me, that's huge."

Alongside modeling her own Inamorata bikinis this summer, Emily is now promoting Good American as she joins TV star Khloe Kardashian's brand as an ambassador.
