Meghan Markle is reportedly working hard on the products in her American Riviera Orchard, which will launch soon.

Despite the Duchess of Sussex handing out jars of jam to her celebrity pals, it's been alleged that her first official product is a bottle of Rosé, a wine she has been a fan of for years. She is also predicted to complement the alcohol with a collection of drinkware.

Meghan Markle was recently criticized after a friend of hers unveiled new ARO products hours ahead of Kate Middleton's grand return at Trooping the Colour.

The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly planning to launch a bottle of rosé under her American Riviera Orchard label, which might be the first product available for the public to buy after her highly anticipated brand launch.

According to the Daily Mail, Meghan's decision to launch wine first makes "infinite commercial sense" because it will generate more revenue than cheaper items.

"As a product, wines are far more aspirationally marketable -— not to mention financially lucrative — than humble jam," the publication noted.

Wine is just one of the products teased under Meghan's American Riviera Orchard brand. She's also previously hinted at selling a limited collection of strawberry jam that only had 50 numbered jars.

Meghan is reportedly a big fan of rosé, and it was reportedly her drink of choice during her first date with Prince Harry when they met in 2016.

The Duchess is also said to love a "frosé," which is made by "freezing rosé wine and blending it into a slushie with strawberries and some icing sugar for extra sweetness."

Aside from releasing her own brand of wine, Meghan is also likely to roll out a line of American Riviera Orchard drinkware to complement the rosé bottles.

According to the Daily Mail, "It's expected that other products in the initial tranche of releases will be drinking and serving ware, bar essentials and other products, related to hosting and entertaining. We can expect items in classic, but expensive, style."

Meghan will reportedly add a collection of dog biscuits to the lifestyle brand's offerings.

Last week, a close friend of the Duchess, professional polo player Nacho Figueras, unveiled a jar of the dog treats Meghan had sent him on social media.

On Friday night, Figueras posted a photo of a jar of Meghan's new raspberry jam flavor to his Instagram Stories.

He also posted a photo of his dog, Nina Iggy, sitting next to a large jar of the biscuits. The jar of dog treats featured the same ribbon as seen on Meghan's jam jars and a similar writing style on the packaging.

However, Figueras' post triggered a lot of criticism of Meghan on social media as he made the post just hours before her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, made her return to the public for the first time since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March this year.

Meghan was criticized for teasing the launch of the new products for American Riviera Orchard at a time when the spotlight was on Kate regarding her highly anticipated return.

During a conversation with TMZ, royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti shared his opinion on the situation, slamming Meghan for her timing.

Sacerdoti seemed very upset about the whole situation, calling Meghan's launch a "pathetic" attempt to upstage Kate.

However, the royal expert also admitted that it could be a coincidence that Meghan's launch came at this time, which is a big possibility.

The Sussexes allegedly reached out to the Princess of Wales before her return to the public eye at the recent Trooping the Colour ceremony.

According to Closer magazine, a source shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made efforts to reconnect with Kate and "have been following Kate's recovery with huge interest, but sadly it's [hard] to be more from afar because their lines of communication with the palace and the Waleses, in particular, are very limited, to say the least."

"They have had enough information to know that people are excited about the idea of a comeback for Kate, and they're both relieved and happy to hear that she's on the mend and may soon be well enough to return to her duties," the insider continued.

"They've jointly reached out to send well wishes, but they're still not really in a place with Kate to warrant much of a response," the source noted, adding that this "hasn't stopped them from trying to connect."
