Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky Unite To Surprise Daughter With A New Whip

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are putting family first despite their differences.

The estranged couple may be separated, but they came together to surprise their teenager, Portia Umanski, with an unforgettable gift — a new car. The proud parents had earlier celebrated their teenager with heartfelt messages and nostalgic photos. 

Although Kyle Richards dropped Mauricio Umansky's last name, their recent show of parental union shows that the family's bond remains as strong as ever.

Despite their separation last year, the reality TV stars came together to celebrate their daughter Portia's 16th birthday with an unforgettable gift. The touching moment was captured in a video by Portia's older sister, Sophia, who shared it on TikTok.

In the heartwarming clip, Richards and Umansky lead the celebrant to the door and teasingly ask, "Whose car is that?" As the realization dawns on Portia, she becomes emotional, her eyes welling up with tears as she approaches the car adorned with a giant bow.

Overwhelmed by the surprise, Portia stood by her black-colored car as someone in the video dubbed it "Portia's new Porsche." With tears of joy streaming down her face, both parents enveloped her in hugs, beaming with pride as they held their grateful teenager.

The TikTok video captioned "Surprise" with a gift-wrapped emoji, garnered an outpouring of love and admiration from fans. 

In the comments section, a follower excitedly gushed, "So sweet! She's so humble! Awwwe!!" Another user praised Portia's upbringing, commenting, "And that's on raising a grateful child," with a heart emoji to emphasize their point.

Others noted the contrast of Portia's gratitude with her affluent surroundings. "I love how grateful she is despite being dripped out and walking out of the beautiful house," remarked one follower. 

The video also brought out heartfelt comments about the family's dynamic. "The closest family," one fan described them.  

This sentiment was echoed by another fan appreciating the parents' unity for their daughter: "So sweet! Love that family, want them back together!" they expressed.

Although Portia's surprise car gift was recently revealed, the teenager's birthday was on March 1st. In 2022, The Blast reported that Richards and Umansky took to Instagram to share touching messages for their daughter. 

Richards posted photos of Portia, capturing moments from childhood to teenage years. In a heartfelt message, the mother-of-four reflected on Portia's impact on their family, stating:

"14 years ago yesterday, this incredible human came into the world, and we were forever changed." 

She described Portia as "this tiny person with the impressive vocabulary & big personality who clearly had already lived many lives, stole our hearts and made our family complete."

Richards then expressed pride in Portia's character and gratitude for the joy she brings to their lives, writing:

"I am so proud of who you are @portia_umansky You are an amazing daughter, sister, friend, student …Thank you for always making us laugh, keeping us on our toes, sharing your very strong opinions with us, still snuggling with us & just being an overall incredible person. We love you so much!! #thisis14.”

At the same time, Umansky's tribute to his daughter also included photos showing her growth. The 53-year-old captioned the images, "Wishing my favorite person; my little love a very very Happy Birthday. I love you??"

While the heartwarming display of love for Portia is truly touching, it is essential to note that the former couple also have daughters, Alexia and Sophia. 

They also share Richards' eldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie. In a revealing November interview, Richards and Umansky opened up about their close-knit family dynamics.

Cutting to the chase, Richards shared, "My husband and I are very fortunate. And with our family, we are very fortunate. We are a family that loves to be together, and we do everything together with our daughters. And we genuinely love hanging out together."

The 55-year-old also discussed the future and potential partners for their daughters. The "Halloween Kills" actress expressed her hope for their daughters to "find someone that they can love to spend time with and have a big family, 'cause I know they want that as well."

Richards also highlighted the importance of happiness and mutual respect in her daughters' future relationships.

Family unity has always been crucial for Richards and Umansky, but it has not stopped the actress from making a significant change on social media.

According to The Blast, the socialite updated her Instagram account to display "Kyle Richards" instead of "Kyle Richards Umansky," but "wife" in her bio.

The exact timing of this change remains unclear, but it coincides with Umansky's decision to move out of their shared home. 

The Blast previously reported that the real estate mogul purchased a luxury condo in West Hollywood, in the same building where actor Matt Damon owns an $8.6 million unit. 

Sources suggested that the father-of-four's new living arrangement stemmed from his ongoing situation with Richards. An insider noted that their dynamic was improving under these new arrangements.

The source also mentioned that Richards plans to stay in their primary residence while Umansky is expected to visit frequently, especially when she is away. 

However, while the former lovebirds seem to have adjusted to living separately, they have yet to address any plans for divorce.
