Travis Barker just launched a new project in the most iconic way!
The Blink-182 drummer recently dropped a "run and wellness experience" called "Run Travis Run," and he enlisted his number cheerleader, Kourtney Kardashian, to help with the nostalgic announcement.
While music is an integral part of who Travis Barker is, running saved his life after a traumatic plane crash left him with severe injuries.
Travis Barker Channels' Forrest Gump' In New Wellness Project Ad
On his TikTok page, Barker shared a short clip of himself channeling Tom Hanks' iconic 1994 movie "Forrest Gump."
Like the titular character, the drummer sat on a bench, dressed in 90s garb featuring a blue striped collared shirt tucked into khaki pants and secured with a black belt.
He completed the fit with a red cap similar to the one Hanks wore in the movie and running shoes. With the cap on his head, Barker got up from the bench and recreated the iconic running scene where Gump ran across the U.S.
In the video, the drummer ran across a park and down a winding dirt road, where his doting wife popped up from the sidelines to cheer for him, saying: "Run, Travis, run!" Her words referenced the nostalgic "Run Forrest, run!" line from the hit rom-com movie.
"I JUST FELT LIKE RUNNING. Come run with me!!! Introducing @run.travis.run," Barker captioned the post, including the link to his new website and dates for upcoming events in Los Angeles and Queens, New York City.
Fans Love Barker's 'Forrest Gump' Promotion
The drummer's TikTok post received positive responses from fans, many applauding his unique promotional concept while others found Kardashian's part hilarious. Someone penned:
"Dude when Kourtney came out of nowhere saying her little line, I busted out laughing."
Another echoed similar sentiments, writing: "OMG KOURTNEY IS SOOOO CUTE!! is nobody gonna mention how happy and healthy she looks??" A third supporter chimed:
"This is the content I didn't know I needed & I'm here for all of it. More! (Kourtney is so cute)."
"He loves to run. He pulls up to marathons by himself, runs them, and leaves. I saw a bunch of posts about it," a TikTok user noted about Barker's new project, with someone else adding: "Travis as Forrest Gump was not on my bingo card, but I'm here for it."

Barker's new website revealed the dates of his upcoming running events as July 6 in Los Angeles and July 21 in Queens, New York.
The schedule aligns with Blink-182's concerts in the same areas next month, with the first at SoFi Stadium and the other at Citi Field.
The website explained that everyone who registers for the events will get to "experience a day-in-the-life of Travis Barker before he hits the main stage." Participants will also receive shirts, medals, and more sweet deals.
As for why Barker launched the wellness project, he shared his story in a touching statement posted on the site.
The drummer opened up about the near-fatal plane crash that killed four people in 2008 and how doctors believed he would live with debilitating consequences.

In his statement, Barker recalled the aftermath of the traumatic incident that left him with third-degree burns on "more than 70%" of his body. He wrote:
"I was told by doctors that I may never be able to walk or play drums the same again."
"I was never athletic, and I never played sports, but I immediately had this urge to prove everyone wrong, including myself," he continued, revealing that his journey to marathons began with short walks, then short runs every day.
Barker noted that he felt "this sense of calmness and a rush of dopamine" every time he ran and continued the tradition whenever he was on tour by running three miles every day before his shows.
