Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a man of many talents, but fans never expected him to be a bird whisperer and are dubbing him relatable.
Although the aspiring president is not technically able to communicate with birds, he does have two ravens he has been training. RFK Jr. showed off his feathered friends in a new social media post, earning the support of his followers.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. comes from a long line of politicians, with his father being former senator Robert F. Kennedy and his uncle, the late U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Flaunts His Close Relationship With 'His Ravens'
The independent candidate in the 2024 presidential election showed off his close relationship with two ravens in a TikTok post. The video, taken in selfie mode, captured Kennedy on a balcony with the feathered creatures perched on the railing.
"Hey, everybody. These are my two ravens," the politician announced before adding a quick disclaimer, "They're not actually mine. They are just I'm just taming them. They live in a palm tree." Kennedy continued, saying:
"They have roost in a palm tree about a 100 feet from my house, and I've gotten them by feeding them every day. I've gotten them to come in and join me for meditations every morning on my balcony."
"They have two babies who they feed, and the babies don't come in, but they come very close. Anyway, that's the male in the back and the female in the front," he added, panning the camera to show the black birds.
Kennedy Jr.'s Feathered Friends Score Major Points With Fans
Apart from getting the birds to meditate with him, Kennedy noted he has been working on getting them to eat out of his hand. The heartwarming revelation received positive responses from fans, who applauded his loveable personality.
"This guy is so damn likable," a TikTok user declared, with another writing, "You got my vote; you had it when you said Raven lol... also I agree that America is about its people, not corporations."
"I genuinely hope that you're our next president," a third added while a fourth chimed, "You've got my vote. If animals trust you, you're good for America. It takes some patience to tame a Raven. God bless you!"
More fans echoed similar sentiments, with someone commenting, "I was already planning on voting for you, but now I want to make everyone else vote for you too!" Another supporter claimed, "Will forever trust someone that has befriended ravens."
RFK Jr. Denied Rumors Of Being Donald Trump's VP
Months before winning fans over with his ravens, The Blast reported that RFK Jr. had refuted the viral speculations of him campaigning as Donald Trump's vice president. In January, the politician cleared the air at the season 12 premiere of "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
He attended the Los Angeles event with his wife, Cheryl Hines, the lovebirds looking radiant while posing for pictures. However, their demeanors changed when Kennedy Jr. was asked if he would ever consider serving as Trump's vice president.
The couple might have addressed the VP rumors privately as Hines smirked at the question while her husband pointed at her with a sweet smile before replying: "I don't think that my marriage would survive it."
"I think he's right," Hines chimed in. Meanwhile, Kennedy Jr. clarified that his only interest in the presidential campaign was to become the next ruler of the United States and not his opponent's right-arm man.
How Did Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Become Embroiled In The VP Rumors
Kennedy Jr. began campaigning to be the next president in April 2023, initially running for the Democratic party nomination.
However, he transferred to the Independent party in October 2023, and three months later, the VP speculations began spreading from Trump's camp.
Sources close to the former president's party claimed Kennedy Jr. might serve as Trump's running mate. One insider claimed the other team was interested in the Independent candidate early on, "but it was all premature."
"Anything's possible. I wouldn't write it off by any means," the informant continued. Other sources echoed similar sentiments, with a significant donor to both Trump and Kennedy's campaigns claiming:
"It's very much behind the scenes at this stage. As we progress, you might see it bubble up a little bit more. Bobby can bring new people to the polls."
Kennedy Jr. Filed A Restraining Order Against An Alleged Trespasser
In November 2023, The Blast shared that Kennedy Jr. had troubles outside his presidential campaign due to a home invader. He filed a restraining order against the alleged culprit after he accessed his Los Angeles home.
In the filing, Kennedy Jr. requested a Civil Harassment Restraining Order to protect himself, his wife, and their properties against the believed trespasser. Hines noted she was at home when the home invasion happened and caught the man in the yard.
Fortunately, nothing happened to her as their security team successfully subdued the trespasser until cops arrived and arrested him. However, this encounter did not stop the invader, who allegedly returned to Kennedy Jr.'s home the following day around 1:30 a.m.
