Jack Black, 54, publicly endorsed President Joe Biden at a recent event, and his dramatic speech is going viral.

The high-profile fundraising event was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and more reportedly raised over $30M.

Jack Black was one of the Hollywood stars to speak out at the event, but his endorsement of Joe Biden has sparked controversy.

Jack Black's Endorsement Speech Goes Viral

The "School Of Rock" actor appeared on stage at the event over the weekend to support President Joe Biden in the upcoming election.

"George Clooney and Julia Roberts wanted me to help out the President and speak here tonight, and I said, 'I am in, when and where?'" Black told the audience and viewers at home before leading into a dramatic monologue about the "big" events he had to pass up to be there, including the opening of Jack-In-The-Box's new location in Oxnard, California and the second Annual Imperial Avocado Festival, which "you won't see on Meryl Streep's resume."

"I know I turned them down, but my President needs me," the actor, who was wearing a pair of American flag overalls and a President Biden t-shirt, added. While only part of his speech has gone viral on social media, many are voicing their opinions and criticizing the actor for what he said while on stage.

"Actor Jack Black just dramatically announced his endorsement of President Biden and he brutally lashed out on President Donald Trump," an X user wrote alongside the video. "Black is accompanied by George Clooney, Julia Roberts, President Obama, Joe Biden, and other Hollywood stars."

After the video went viral, social media users were not afraid to voice their opinions, slamming the actor for his endorsement.

"These clowns have no clue what they’re talking about," one X user wrote after seeing the video.

"Jack Black doesn’t know what he’s talking about and definitely shouldn’t be taken seriously," another expressed.

"For the last time, NO ONE CARES WHAT HOLLYWOOD ELITES THINK. They have no idea what it's like to live in the middle class right now," a third posted.

"Well, he’s comedically dead to me," another X user said.

The comments continued to pour in after social media users watched Jack Black's endorsement speech at the event.

"Seriously, does anyone care?" one X user wrote. "And why are people being influenced about who to vote for by rich, privileged, and living in a very comfortable environment actors? They don’t pay bills and feel inflation like the other 90% of the population."

Another backed Black as they wrote, "He is the epitome of cool. Love him."

"That was funny. Still voting for Trump. Still love Jack Black," a third expressed.

Actor George Clooney, actress Julia Roberts, and comedian Jimmy Kimmel were among those who hosted the Hollywood fundraising event.

"Saturday's fundraiser will be a show of force with leaders across the entertainment industry sending a clear signal: they are united and enthusiastic about reelecting President Biden and Vice President Harris," the Biden campaign said in a statement, per USA Today, ahead of the event.

During the event, President Joe Biden said, “We have the strongest economy in the world today," adding, “We try to give ordinary people an even chance.”
