Miranda Lambert In Braless Sundress Highlights Stunning 'New Body'

Miranda Lambert may be embracing her curves in 2024, but way back in 2015, the country singer was making headlines for having dropped weight. Fronting Marie Claire's January issue that year, Miranda flaunted the 20 pounds she'd lost as the magazine spoke of her "new body," rocking a blue sundress for a poolside photo and opening up about her journey in the accompanying interview. While celebrities in 2024 make headlines for either using weight loss drug Ozempic or getting accused of secretly taking it, Miranda's weight loss came long before the hyped-up drug even existed.

Keeping summery, the "Bluebird" hitmaker flashed her cleavage and slimmed-down shoulders, also flaunting her svelte waistline as the dress included mixed shades of blue farther down.

Going braless, but staying classy, Miranda shot the camera a confident, piercing gaze, rocking her blonde locks in a long bob swept to one side.

With a little eyeliner bringing out her light blue eyes, Miranda showed off her gorgeous features and confident energy, with Marie Claire introducing her as "the queen of country." The interview focused on Miranda's music career and soon-to-end marriage to Blake Shelton, but it also saw the star talk weight.

After confirming that she'd slimmed down by controlling how much she ate and upping her exercise, Miranda Lambert revealed: "When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your sh*t's not jiggling."

Continuing, the Idyllwind founder added:

"I'm just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized. But everybody's making this big, giant thing about it. It's way too much focus on women's bikini photos, and I hate it. Why do we care? I want women to love themselves whatever they've got going on." The Grammy winner even discussed how she factored her wardrobe choices into how she wanted to be perceived by the public.

"For years, I'd only wear jeans, boots, and vintage T-shirts. This is who I am! Like it or lump it! I didn't want to make it all about the long hair and eyelashes and tight dresses. I didn't want to be seen. I wanted to be heard," she added. In July 2015, Miranda split from now ex-husband Blake. In 2019, she wed former NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin.
