Early on Saturday morning, Schnapp was allegedly kicked out of a club in New York for getting too drunk.

A source revealed to Page Six that the 19-year-old "Stranger Things" star was at The Palace club with his entourage and got too "wasted" as the night went on.

Schnapp allegedly got "angry" at other clubgoers after they refused to take tequila shots with him because he's underage.

The actor then got so "aggressively wasted" that club security was forced to escort him out of the club at around 1:30 a.m. Schnapp then retreated to the curb and was so drunk that he was "unable to stand."

Schnapp has been in the spotlight recently for a lot of controversial reasons.

In 2020, the "Stranger Things" star was criticized for a 2019 video in which he allegedly said the N-word while singing the lyrics to "Freaky Friday," but he denied the accusations.

In 2022, Schnapp was once again the subject of criticism when singer Doja Cat slammed him for sharing their private messages. In the chat, she asked him to set her up with "Stranger Things" co-star Joseph Quinn, who played the role of Eddie Munson.

In an Instagram Live video addressing the issue, Doja Cat shared that she was shocked that Schnapp publicized their DMs.

One major controversy Schnapp was involved in centered around his beliefs regarding the Israel-Hamas crisis. In 2023, the Jewish actor shared a video of himself laughing and surrounded by people with stickers that read "Zionism Is Sexy" and "Hamas Is Isis."

Schnapp was extremely vocal about his support for Israel after the surprise Hamas attack in October 2023, which kicked off a war between Hamas and Israel.

At the time, Schnapp released a statement on his social media in which he said he was afraid for his "brothers and sisters in Israel."

He said, "I am truly heartbroken to see the brutal murders of innocent children, women and soldiers fighting to defend themselves. I, like others, want peace for both Palestinians and Israelis. Let's stop the rhetoric and choosing sides. Instead we must recognize that we are all on the side of the fight against terrorism."

However, Schnapp's statement and refusal to change his stance generated even more public criticism. Fans soon rallied for the actor to be fired from his role on "Stranger Things," with threats to boycott the show's fifth and final season, which recently started production.

As reported by The Blast, in January this year, Schnapp finally addressed the controversy in a now-deleted TikTok video, claiming that his "beliefs have been so far misconstrued."

He said, "I've had many open discussions with friends from Palestinian background, and I think those are very important conversations to have and I've learned a lot."

Schnapp further shared that his open discussions have taught him that the common hope is for the end of the battle between Palestine and Israel.

He added, "We all hope for the same things, that being those innocent people still being held hostage in Gaza to be returned to their families, and equally hope for an end to the loss of innocent life in Palestine — so many of those people being women and children, and it's horrible to see."
