Britney Spears In Skimpy Bikini 'Got Lost In Downtown Mexico'

Britney Spears has been updating fans on her travels as she enjoys Mexico. On Wednesday, the 42-year-old pop princess updated her Instagram in bikini mode, showing off her stunning figure in a bright yellow two-piece as she revealed a bit of a scary incident. Telling her followers that she "got lost in downtown Mexico," Britney reassured everyone that she'd found her way in the end — she even closed her caption on an especially cheerful note as she celebrated it being "beautiful today."

Striking poses from a luxurious hotel suite opening up onto a serene shaded terrace, Britney made eyes pop as she rocked a plunging, bright yellow bikini that perfectly flattered her fit figure. Swaying her hips a little as she walked around in front of the camera and even tugged her bottoms down a little, the "Womanizer" hitmaker flashed her hip tattoos and toned abs, also showing off a healthy tan.

Sticking out her tongue in one moment, Britney kept her video lighthearted, wearing her blonde locks down and completing her minimal look with a pair of Birkenstock sandals, plus her trusty black choker necklace. "Got lost in downtown Mexico for an hour this morning and it was horrific … but I found my way and I’m laying out now … it’s beautiful today," she wrote, adding three bikini emoji at the end of her caption.

Spears appears to have been in Mexico for much of the past week. Four days ago, she shared night-lit footage of her swanky digs, writing: "Repost 360 of Mexico in 6 seconds !!! And swipe to see the greatest." The "swipe" showed off a bottle of Log Cabin syrup.

While Britney Spears is reported to have raked in $40 million last year as she adds to her $60 million net worth, sources in 2024 are stating that the Grammy winner is spending her cash too freely. “She has no concept of money,” a source told Page Six at the end of April. “For over a decade, other people were in charge of her bank accounts, and every purchase had to be reported to the court — even if it was just a pack of gum. But now, she’s on her own," they added.

Britney Spears has confirmed that she's on the mend following her painful twisted ankle injury in early May. Following a fight with boyfriend Paul Soliz while at the celebrity-adored Chateau Marmont, the "Toxic" singer updated her Instagram with footage of her swollen ankle, also making headlines for being escorted from the establishment by medical services.
