Ariana Grande and Mikey Foster from Social House play star-crossed lovers in their new music video, "Boyfriend," and it turns out art and reality aren't too far apart.

Foster, who makes up one half of the pop duo, Social House, has worked with Grande several times and recently joined her on the road during the Sweetener World Tour.

Grande has worked with Social House -- which also includes Charles “Scootie” Anderson -- on hit tracks like "Thank U, Next" and "7 Rings."

We're told the two stars have been seriously enjoying each other's company, and have quietly been elevating their relationship. However, they are far from boyfriend/girlfriend ... and are apparently just feeling things out.

Their ignited spark isn't surprising, considering their recently released"Boyfriend" music video, which is already causing quite the stir since its Thursday release.

In the video, Grande fights, shoots an arrow and even attempts to mind control Foster by shooting lasers out of her tatas in order to keep him away from other girls.

Grande isn't the only passionate one in the music video, as Foster is just as nuts.

The Pittsburgh native actually rips out some poor guy's heart after he's seen hitting on Grande.

Spoiler alert -- in the end, the two stars hook up and share a steamy kiss.

Showcasing their crazy relationship as the other half of Social House walks in and witnesses the carnage, it's almost as if Grande and Foster used this platform as an actual moment to proclaim their true feelings.

While Ariana Grande's career has excelled, her personal life has been a struggle over the last several months.

The hitmaker announced her engagement to "SNL" star Pete Davidson in June 2018, only to call it off months later.

She was engaged to Davidson at the time of her ex Mac Miller's death.

But there's only love there, which she recently spoke out to Vogue about.

We'll have to wait and see if Mike Foster can make the cut and become an actual Boyfriend.
