Hollywood power couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage has been in the spotlight for allegedly facing challenges. According to a new report, the pair have been "living separate lives."
Lopez and Affleck are understood to be leaning on friends and family to withstand this trying phase, with the "Hustlers" actress canceling her summer tour to be with her family.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have "quietly" listed their $60 million marital home as she reportedly hunts for a new house.
Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck 'Living Separate Lives'
According to Entertainment Tonight, a source close to the couple revealed that they have been "living separate lives," although they're "not officially separated yet."
"At this point, they are just doing their own thing," the insider told the news outlet. "They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven't."
The troubled couple sent rumor mills into overdrive after going seven weeks without being spotted together in public.
They somehow worsened speculations when Lopez attended the MET Gala event without Affleck. The Oscar-award-winning actor also went to Tom Brady's Netflix Roast show without his wife. Affleck has also been spotted without his wedding ring on certain occasions.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Are Leaning On Family And Friends
The "Ain't Your Mama" crooner and the "Argo" actor have reportedly turned to their family and friends for support and comfort as they struggle with their relationships.
The source who spoke with ET shared that Lopez "has been leaning on her mom, sisters, and kids during this transitional period."
She has two sisters, Lynda and Leslie Ann, and shares twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
Meanwhile, Affleck has been relying on his close friend and "Good Will Hunting" co-writer, Matt Damon, as well as his family members to help him through the tough spot.
"Ben is sad about it all but focused on his work, being a great dad, and co-parenting well with Jennifer Garner," the source shared. "He has been leaning on Matt Damon and his close circle of guy friends. Matt is always in Ben's corner and is supportive of him."
The Couple Is Letting Go Of Their Marital Home
Further fueling speculation about the future of their relationship, the pair have "quietly" listed their $60 million marital home for sale as Lopez reportedly hunts for a new house.
According to TMZ, the pair hired realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to sell the home just barely a year after they paid for it and invested heavily in its renovation.
They're asking "around $65 million" for the house as the agent has shown potential buyers the property for the past two weeks, but there are no buyers.
A source told ET that Lopez "is touring houses and shopping around for her own home," while Affleck has since relocated to a Brentwood home near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, where he pays $100,000 per month.
They Longer Have 'The Look Of Love'
Body language expert Judi James, Affleck, and Lopez's body language at the actor's daughter Violet's graduation ceremony in Los Angeles showed that they are no longer as intimate as they were before.
She told the Daily Mail that despite the couple holding hands "in a traditionally intimate gesture of affection and togetherness," their facial expressions showed that something was amiss.
According to James, the duo did not have a "look of love" in their eyes when they looked at each other but instead chose to share only "frosty" looks.
The body language expert said, "A couple in love will do 'the look of love' when they gaze at each other. It involves a dramatic softening of the muscles of the face and a warm eye-smile."
She added, "But here it looks as though Ben and Jennifer's face remain switched onto 'frosty,' despite their eye contact."
Jennifer Lopez Canceled Her Summer Tour To Be With Family
In a bid to spend more time with family, the "Atlas" star announced the cancellation of her Summer Tour, which was supposed to kick off in July.
The singer revealed that she made the decision because she wanted to spend more time with her family and apologized to fans, promising to make it up to them.
Taking to her website, Lopez explained that she was "completely heartsick and devastated" for letting them down, adding that she wouldn't "do this" if she didn't "feel that it was absolutely necessary."
"I promise I will make it up to you, and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time," Lopez added.
She's seemingly making good on that decision, as Affleck was seen visiting her at their marital home over the weekend. According to Page Six, the "Gone Girl" actor was seen leaving the property in his black Mercedes Benz after spending 4 hours there from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. local time.
