The Presidential election between the current President of the United States, Joe Biden, 81, and former President Donald Trump, 77, is heating up.
Both individuals are participating in rallies and releasing campaigns to gain as many votes as possible. Recently, the 77-year-old visited Las Vegas to speak to a crowd of MAGA supporters.
Following Donald Trump's Las Vegas rally, President Joe Biden has decided to use a portion of his speech as part of his Presidential campaign.
What Did Donald Trump Say?
Former President Donald Trump held a rally in Las Vegas on June 9, during which he appeared to tell the crowd that his primary concern was votes.
"I don't want anybody going on me," he said during his speech. "We need every voter. I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care." He later claimed that the media would find a way to twist his words.
After hearing this, Joe Biden decided to use a portion of his statement as part of his political campaign.
President Joe Biden 'Approves' Donald Trump's Rally Speech
The day after Donald Trump's rally speech went viral, President Joe Biden used a clip of Trump's speech and shared it on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, as part of his newest campaign.
"I approve this message," Biden wrote along with the clip of Trump saying, "Because I don't want anyone going on me. We need every voter. I don't care about you, I just want your vote. I don't care."
The President of the United States then says, "I'm Joe Biden, and I approve this message."
Joe Biden Receives Backlash
This tactic may not have been the best idea, as many X users slammed Joe Biden for his message.
"If you would've played the rest of the clip, he says the media would spin what he says into a bad thing - because you people can't tolerate New York humor," one social media user wrote. "You fell right into his trap, handler who edited this."
"Why didn’t you play the full clip? Where he said that the media (and propagandists) will take what I said out of context and say look, Trump said he doesn’t care about you, just your vote," another said. "As you said, 'well, son of a b-tch..' here you are doing the exact thing he said you’d do."
"The Biden campaign loves taking video out of context," a third expressed.
Joe Biden Labeled As A 'Liar'
Many other social media users attacked Joe Biden online for his latest Presidential campaign. "You are lying and taking him completely out of context," one user wrote. "You are senile sc-mbag and the worst President in history by far!"
"You cut out the clip, you lying tyrannical SOB..." another said.
"Your campaign is now 80% out-of-context hoaxes," one user expressed.
The Ongoing Race Between Biden And Trump
According to USA Today, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are running neck-and-neck among voters nationwide. However, earlier this month, The Blast reported that Trump saw a significant decline in the polls 48 hours after receiving a guilty verdict.
It has also been reported that 71% of voters who indicated they were likely to support Trump this fall said his guilty verdict would not influence their decision to vote for him.
Plus, 80% of Republicans polled believe Trump was found guilty because of the Biden administration.
Donald Trump Blames The Biden Administration For Guilty Verdict
Shortly after the jury found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to a 2016 hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, the former President spoke to the media, blaming the Biden administration.
"This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent," Trump told the press. "And I think it’s just a disgrace, and we’ll keep fighting and fighting till the end and we’ll win because our country has gone to hell."
"We don’t have the same country anymore. We have a divided mess," he continued. "We’re a nation in decline, serious decline, millions and millions of people pouring into our country right now from prisons and from mental institutions, terrorists, and they’re taking over our country."
However, there is no evidence the president or other administration officials targeted the former president.
